So I'm watching West Wing for the first time, I know crazy, and I'm totally loving this game right now. I keep thinking what would President Bartlet do? Would Leo be giving me shit right now? Lol. I subsidized preschool and childcare costs, added access to generic drugs, and increased infrastructure and Amtrak spending. I taxed the ever loving shit out of a lot of stuff though to meet the 100% goal: capital gains, estate tax, uncapped payroll tax wages, cigarette tax, and carbon tax. So I don't know if my world would actually be economically sound or not but maybe our kids would have a fighting chance to have a decent world to live in. That was really fun and frustrating.
