Don't do it. Eye on the prize: you want to run your marathon like a badass, not be upset because you're hurt and can't do it or can't do it to your full strength.
Remember how you felt taking just a couple weeks off. Now imagine more and maybe months. Are you willing to risk it? If yes then sure run. If not then don't.
Not running for 5 months sucks more than a missed race. Trust. Love, the girl who should have bailed on MCM and didn't (and so missed Boston and is still not running)
