OMG. So now you have to have ID to use the bathroom???
The fact that the police are actually actively following poeple in and when told by numerous people that the person is the 'right' gender for that bathroom, they STILL pursue it? Assholes.

You know what really gets me here (besides all of the obvious) is that many of these fucking people who think these bills are a good idea will be totally OK with this. Just like when people die from backalley abortions (shoulda kept your legs closed, whore, you deserved to die), she has to have this coming for a) not showing ID right away and b) not looking femme enough. FUCK THIS SHIT. PEOPLE JUST WANT TO PEE. Seriously, my former stepmom is all for these idiotic bills and she is 6'2 and VERY VERY BUTCH. She is former Army, and a mechanic. Maybe she should make sure to slap on a little lipstick and keep her ID on her at all times, huh? PERSONAL FREEDOMS, ya'll, except for when it involves anything below the waist.
Also, can we talk about how the male cops felt free to go in the women's bathroom which was actively being used by women, hmmmmm? The whole point of the law is to prevent women from getting harassed on their own turf, but it's ok for male cops to come in and harass them?

I fully support people using whichever bathroom they want to use. They all have stalls for privacy. I understand the concerns for safety but it is more dangerous for a transgender woman to use the men's restroom
This does remind me of an awkward moment working retail when several customers came and complained about the young man resting on the couch in the ladies room.... Yeah, he turned out to be a teen girl in "boys" baggy clothing and short hair.

This.
Raven Symone's simple behind, was talking about while this was wrong, she should have had her ID, and that my mother always taught me to have her papers with her. Girl, bye.

I have a former student who is 14 or 15 now. She is very gender-ambiguous and dresses like a boy, always has (I had her in 4th-6th grade). She has short hair. She even has a gender-neutral name. Should she get a special, oh, PATCH FOR HER CLOTHES, that indicate that she is a bona-fide born female so she, who wouldn't have ID, won't get FUCKING HARASSED IN THE BATHROOM?
But you, Mr. Mentally Unstable, yes you may have all the guns you want, it is Your Right.
Do you know how many times I have left my purse strapped into the cart because I have to go RIGHT NOW and hustled to the bathroom leaving everything with MH?! People need to mind their business.

My friend's wife was being talked about at fucking church of all places by some snatches who thought she was a man. My friend heard them as they walked out of the bathroom, where she was waiting for her wife. This shit has to stop. IT HAS TO STOP! I swear to god, if I ever see someone pull this kind of crap, I will beat them into the floor right then and there.

I saw this one this morning. It's what brought me back here.
This crap here reminds me of back in high school (thirty-five years ago! OMG!) when my friend D - who dressed in jeans and flannels, wore short hair, rode a skateboard and did BMX, and hung out with the guys who did this same stuff - was getting dressed in the locker room when someone started screaming that there was a boy in the girls' locker room. Poor D was looking around trying to find out where the guy was, not realizing that she was "the guy." I'm sure she's probably had that happen more often than I would care to think.
Bathrooms have stalls. And other people in them. Your mother/sister/daughter isn't about to get molested by a transgender person. The likelihood of that is precisely 0%.

That is incredibly disgusting, and likely to happen a lot now. It's made even more bizarre by the fact that she LOOKS female. She has VERY feminine facial features. If all it takes is someone who looks like that wearing baggy clothes and a baseball cap, then a lot of androgynous women are about to be harassed, and a lot of feelings are going to be hurt. I hope she sues them.
I had a conversation with someone the other day in which I was telling him that yes, his concern about transgender people in restrooms is misplaced and that his children are nowhere near as worried about this as he is. It's so frustrating. He seemed to listen and be willing to think about it. He seemed to realize that his discomfort was more about him and whatever sticking points he has than about trying to protect his children.
I hope this is fake, I really do. I don't know what I would have done if that happened to me, does this mean we need to wear pink, make up and heels to go anywhere in order to be classified as female enough? What is supposed to be as the end result? So those "horrible" trans people don't use "female" bathrooms? I wonder what that will solve as a lot of them look more female than me on their worst day and my best. This makes my heart hurt.
The law in NC is that it must correspond to your birth certificate, right? So couldn't you kick ANY woman (or man for that matter) out unless she happened to have her birth certificate with her (as opposed to another form of government ID)? From what I understand, different states/countries have widely different regulations on how/if you can change your birth certificate. If you even have one.
And I couldn't name a single time in my entire life when I had my birth certificate with me in a restroom.
