Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy is one of the genres I probably read most often. Don't judge. LOL I'm always open to finding new books to read so list some of your favorites here
Here are some of mine broken down by author: Ilona Andrews -Kate Daniels series, Innkeeper series, basically anything she writes Keri Arthur - Riley Jenson series Patricia Briggs - Mercy Thompson series and it's off-shoot series Alpha and Omega Gayla Drummond - Discord Jones series Jeaniene Frost - Night Huntress series (but not any of the multiple off shoot series, didn't care for them) Kevin Hearne - Iron Druid series Karen Marie Moning - Fever series (but only books 1-5, I suggest stopping at that point) Nalini Singh - Guild Hunter series (but I don't particularly care for her Psy-Changeling series)
Debora Geary's Witches are always a fun read for me. Start with A Modern Witch. Nora Robert's Three Sister's Island trilogy is one of my favorite things.
Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed. - G. K. Chesterton
Some of my favorites: Charley Davidson Series - Darynda Jones Kate Daniels & Hidden Legacy Series - Ilona Andrews Chicagoland Vampire Series - Chloe Neill Mercy Thompson & Alpha & Omega Series - Patricia Briggs Cainsville Series - Kelley Armstrong The Morgansville Vampire Series - Rachel Caine Sookie Stackhouse Series (but not the last few)& Harper Connelly Series - Charlaine Harris Night Huntress Series - Jeaniene Frost Fever Series (ditto above, only until book 5) - Karen Marie Moning Deadwood Series - Ann Charles A Discovery of Witches - Deborah Harkness
I feel like I need to post in here because it's also my favorite genre, but I can't think of too many outside what's already been listed. Kitty Norville was interesting, thought I haven't finished it.
It's more YA or NA but the Angelfall series by Susan Ee was really, really good.
Does Black Dagger Brotherhood count? I loooooove those. Also, I just started a book that was supposed to be similar to BDB, called Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian.
