Yes, I have quite a few and I am in a very, very liberal state so I've been shocked. It makes me sick to read some of their posts so I unfollowed them last year.
No one I know IRL has openly admitted to me that they support or will vote for him. Conversely, all the Rs I know express being upset that he is the nominee and say they don't know who they will vote for. But I assume some will end up grudgingly voting for Trump.
I just checked FB, and I have four friends who have liked his page--two people I didn't particularly like in high school and haven't seen since, the younger brother of an ex-boyfriend, and a cousin of H's I haven't seen in years. So not exactly my nearest and dearest.
Yes, possibly a good friend. I've deferred from asking him directly. Otherwise I've hidden anyone on FB who has hinted at it.
My great aunt posted a photo on fb of the article that she recently wrote and had published in a south georgia newspaper about all of the reasons that she is voting for him. It was impressive.

Unfortunately yes. And they are all dumb, white, over privileged white dudes. One is sincere in thinking Trump is a good candidate and others are just voting Republican because that's what they do. We are from Texas, my apologies. I'm tired of angry ranting at them.
Yes. One friend. And he has a few friends that do but I don't know them personally.
Eta- he is white, college educated and calls himself independent because he's extremely conservative but also atheist AND he pretty much hates all politicians. He's always saying to vote them all out. Given all this his support of Trump makes sense but it still boggles my mind.

I didn't read this thread entirely and I know it's an older one, but I just had to scream this at someone, and I knew this would be a good place. You guys, my father in law is here and just talked for like 10 minutes about what great ideas Trump has!!!! My husband tried to argue with him, and finally I jumped in and said that he might have some reasonable ideas (I don't really know), but his ideas are only good if you're a white man. DH then said how trump is racist and sexist, and finally my father in law shut up. Agggggg!!!!
Only a couple of relatives. Most of the ones who are pro-Trump supported Carson until he dropped out.
FIL was a big Carson fan, but has been very silent about Trump. We know he's anti-Hillary, so we assume he'll be voting for Trump. MIL just keeps asking us who we're going to vote for, as if she doesn't know that her super liberal, 90s-nostalgic children would only be voting for Hillary.
I'm also keeping an eye on one house in my neighborhood that had a few Carson signs up (and subsequently stolen) for months. I'm just waiting for the day the Trump signs appear.
I really hope I don't have to deal with any IRL supporters. There was a complete stranger wearing a Trump hat at the grocery store one day and it was all I could do not to stare at him in disgust.
Yes. A few fb friends who I know IRL are very open about their support. I wouldn't consider them close friends, some old high school friends or old coworkers mostly.
My dark shame is that my own mother is a trump supporter. Lifelong registered independent, but has always voted D. From NJ. She saw some special with his family on tv and claims that since his kids love him so much, there's no way he's a misogynist. She's always had a pretty strong victim complex going, so I think he's just publicly allowed her to channel her dissatisfaction with her own life into xenophobic, bigoted nonsense. Honestly, we haven't spoken much since she dropped the T bomb. I'm so sad about the whole situation.
