He was fed through a squeeze bottle that had a bit of a learning curve to it. It took me a good 2 weeks before I was confident I was feeding him right.
ETA: We are weaning him off that bottle now and onto a sippy full time. We looked into what it would cost to put him in daycare when I went back to work and it was going to be almost twice our rent since he had the special feeding needs. We couldn't afford that so we altered our work schedules so that one of us was always home with him.
That's actually pretty awesome that you were able to adjust your schedules like that - I currently work nights too, and my H works during the day...Does your H sleep when you get home in the afternoon, or do you work later in the day and he sleeps right when he gets home?
It depends on the day. He works Sunday night through Thursday night and has Friday night and Saturday night off. He works 3 11:30-7:30 shifts and 2 10-3 shifts. On his short shifts he comes home and goes right to sleep and on his long shifts it depends on what my shift is sometimes he sleeps when E naps and then again when I get home and sometimes he is able to go right to sleep.
