I planned to make lasagna and bought 16 Oz of ricotta. Then my husband made a stouffers lasagna and my DD informed me lasagna is "so gross." What should I make with it? Not dessert though.

www.health.com/health/recipe/0,,10000001615467,00.html This wasn't exactly the recipe I used but it's close. So good. Pasta with lemon, ricotta and basil. I also added in leftover chicken and some sauteed green beans.

I was also coming in to say she may like homemade lasagna. When I make stouffers, it barely gets eaten but when I make homemade they can't get enough of it.

We make this pasta with ricotta, bacon, & Swiss chard all the time. I remove the bacon from the pan after it's cooked and re-add it to the finished product so it stays crisp.
I pound chicken breasts flat, layer on a slice or more of prosciutto or ham. Spread ricotta and roll up. Bread the rolls with crumbs and herbs. Bake at 350 til the chicken is cooked.
And Stoffers is gross. She may like homemade lasagna.
ETA: but only squirrel calzones
Oh hell no. Stouffer's is delicious!
I'm also on team Stouffers is delicious. It's like homemade vs frozen pizza. Different but awesome. Sadly DD has rejected my homemade lasagna as well but I was hoping it was just a fickle thing. She's getting more finicky about saucy foods, especially with ground meat.
