Well they are all old enough to pick out their own stuff and have strong opinions about it.
DD1 will probably be wearing some cotton shorts and a tank top or T shirt DD2 will probably wear the same DS will probably wear athletic shorts and a t shirt.
I've given up caring about this or buying them special first day outfits that they never want to wear again.
DD starts kindergarten a week from tomorrow. I haven't decided -- we bought a decent amount of new clothes, so something from that stash (probably a dress). I so wish she wore uniforms.
Well it's going to be 90+ degrees, so nothing fall-ish. And to make it completed they start on different days so I'll need to make sure DD1 wears something cute for her first day and her sister's first day.
I'm pleasantly surprised by all of these dressy outfits. In our preschool handbook, they say the kids should be sent in play clothes so I bought a bunch of tees and leggings. I will definitely be dressing dd a little nicer now.
Mine is 10. I don't get to pick anymore. My only request is that his shirt and shorts match on the first day. Last year it was basketball shorts and a t-shirt. I have a feeling that will be it this year, too.
