I wanted to get some more deets but didn't want to wear her her out I'm glad she told us that things were in process though. I was jumpy all night last night.
I hope she hasn't been in actual labor for the last 24 hours! I'd be miserable!
She would likely have had a cervical ripening medication overnight and then started pitocin in the morning. So she wouldn't have actually been in active labor until this morning. First time labors can just be so long and exhausting. I inherited long ass labors from my mom. Thanks mom...

Ah gotcha, that makes sense. I suppose I was technically in labor over 24 hours but I was only at the hospital about 12-13 hours before E was born and it was very slow progressing and not painful at first. Would make sense that for an induction it's not right into active, painful labor right away!
