Any fun plans for the long weekend?
Nothing major over here, watching lots of college football and hopefully just getting out of the house a little even if it's just for walks. I haven't been able to drive because my feet are still so swollen/painful and it is killing me.
I have my windows open right now and it is glorious!
I'm going to open windows in a little while. Housework today. I also need to deliver a pie I made for a guy in our firehouse who had surgery last week. I fixed my pressure cooker yesterday since the part finally came so I'm making myself some short ribs for dinner. I may ask my mom over for dinner.
Saturday my darling DH volunteered me to work all day. Not to happy about that lol. I was just going to go for the ride in the morning to drop off a truck but now I have to do fireworks for a baseball game.
Sunday we are going to a few wineries then to our boss's house for a BBQ.
Sunday, church then we will spend some family time together.
Monday....who knows. I need to purchase some grill food/sides JUST in case the neighbord invite us last minute. That happens frequently as they adopt us for their family get-togethers. I keep telling DH that we have to have them over.
Dh's BFF is coming in tonight to stay for the football weekend, and my dad and stepmom are coming in the morning. We are leaving E with my stepmom, and the rest of us are tailgating and watching football tomorrow, yay!
I'm working on Monday, and I can't remember if it is a time and a half holiday or not. I hope it is.

We just got back from a long walk! Went exploring again and found a new route! DH should be getting home a little early today so that will be nice.
Tomorrow: likely some family time in the morning (maybe coffee and park walk and play). I have a massage and pedicure appointment during nap time. DH and BFF are going to the concert on the lake tomorrow night and DH will likely spend the night there so he can have fun and not drive.
Sunday is church in the morning. No plans for afternoon.
Monday is likely going to the lake or harbor. DH will paddle board and I will walk and play with C.
Other than all that...i need to clean the house, pack my bag, and so some returns.
I had a phone date with my BFF this morning which was unexpected and very needed.
Working on house stuff today. Laundry, dishes, baking, etc. I'm trying to get in the habit of Friday being our stay at home get caught up on housework day.

We are going to my parents for the weekend which means a mad dash to pack the car and leave when I get home from work today. I am hoping to leave just a bit early to get most everything done before H gets home. It is a 6 hour drive with the baby so getting on the road early is always a plus.
I have a girls night out planned with some friends from high school on Satruday.
Going to try and relax this weekend and de-stress from work and let my mom take care of baby L for me as much as possible. That's what grandparents are for right?
I work a double today, 5-11 then 3-11... No time for a nap without making myself more tired. I made a pot of coffee that I will continue drinking then get a drink at work haha. Lots of chores and dinner to make before I head to 2nd job.
I made homemade watermelon iced tea yesterday. It is fabulous!!!

Tomorrow we're going to a going away party for my H's cousin. Sunday we're going to a birthday dinner for H's grandma. Monday we're taking Cara to a splash park and H's friend is coming over later in the day.
No plans really this weekend. Might work overtime on Monday for a few hours since I'd get time and a half plus my holiday pay. I could use the money! Unless we find something fun to do, but we'll see.

Good luck wanderingenough! Praying You find something fast! Can you prolong escrow if you don't? Or will you move and stay with family/rent until you find something?
We had a 45 day escrow and had to move regardless of finding a replacement home. Thankfully we found this house and it has all worked out really well! We were actually ready to close much faster but our buyers were not due to the sell of their home. It was really stressful but has been SO worth it! Hope the same happens for you guys (with as little stress as possible)!!
There's a house that just listed in our neighborhood. The kitchen is giving me irrational rage. It's a huge kitchen. Only one small single basin sink flanked by two dishwashers on a peninsula of sorts...but zero cabinets above or below to store all of those dishes you're supposedly washing. You have to walk across the entire kitchen (easily 10 to 12 feet away) to put away dishes. Oh, and there's a vast expanse of tile for you to break crap on because they didn't bother to put in an island. I guess they thought it looked weird when they were staging so they put a small round table in the center of the kitchen with a vase of flowers. Awkward.
It wouldn't be so bad if the house wasn't listed for $1.3 million! I guess it's fine if you never plan to use the kitchen.

DH got out of work early so I went to pick him up at the metro station since his bus doesn't run mid-day. I did ok driving and we stopped for slurpees on the way home
