What the fuck is wrong with her? I'm glad that those poor women and their babies weren't badly injured and that she's being charged with a hate crime. Trump really did show people it was socially acceptable to be a horrible hateful bugoted person.
“Can’t hide I love Trump,’ she wrote. “When I had no hope and I thought everyone was bad, I looked at Trump goodness and speeches (sic) ... And I had hope.”
And dude.. Isn't "Xhelili" Albanian? What the fuck is she even talking about then?
I remember when the Melania immigration status issue surfaced, a reporter asked a few Trump supporters how they felt about the possibility of their candidate's wife having worked in the U.S. illegally. One supporter, and I am paraphrasing because it's been awhile (and truth be told, because I try not to focus too much on anything a Trump supporter says) said that he didn't have an issue with people from Europe. So, basically, anyone that can pass for "American".
I feel Xhelili is part of this mindset... she very well may be 1st generation American or even an immigrant herself; however, she doesn't look like what Trump supporters consider "foreigners" , so therefore, clearly superior to others. One of Trump's legacies will be the open acceptance of the "us vs them" mindset.

I've been thinking about this too. There are quite a few Albanian-Americans I know (some of whom I'm related to, sadly) who are ardent Trump supporters. I think part of it is that Trump is considered the choice of more "patriotic" Americans, and Albanians looooooooove America (even the ones still living in the motherlands). It's a way for us to assert our allegiance to this country, I guess, since most of us are immigrants or first-generation. Another part of it is that, gee lucky us, we're white. We are "good, hard-working" immigrants who came to this country the right way. Never mind the fact that I have cousins who came here illegally and plenty more did too, but I digress.
So I'm going to ASSume that this woman is Albanian Catholic - we're the ones who can really benefit from that narrative of "the ideal immigrant." Even though Albanians have been shat on enough by European neighbors that there shouldn't be tensions between the Muslim majority, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, and atheists because everyone's gotta fight the good fight together, that's not really the case. This vile shitpig is probably from a family that didn't give the time of day to their Muslim neighbors back in the motherland.

Ah. So.. delusional. Lol, I figured.
Bitch.. the two women and their infants that you attacked have as much right (if not more because fuck bigots and racists) to be here as you do. The idiocy of some people Trump devotees is astounding. FFS.
This story made my stomach turn. How disgusting. I can't imagine the impact this will have on those poor women and babies. I hope she goes away for a long, long time.

I hate this. I hate that this is acceptable to people. I hate that this is happening in both my countries. That the idiot politicians are making it okay to abuse people.
