Hmm. From past pics and "say yes to the dress" I feel as though this dress makes you look bigger than you actually are.
I feel like a stalker saying that, lol.
But from what I recall of your body type this dress doesn't do much for you. Sorry!
ETA: So, basically what Jenny said. lol.
Not a stalker at all! LOL. I have put a lot of stuff out there. I hope that people I know IRL aren't stalking me on here! (Prof. A, are you out there??)
To be fair, I am up 8-10 pounds from SYTTD. I am getting back to the gym and lower-carb stuff now that I don't have an excuse to be lazy.

It's confusing because in the first pic it looks like the waistband is more or less at your natural waist, and in the second pic it looks like it's almost empire, right under your bust. Both looks are not unflattering, but I can see how all that pleating falling above your natural waist may not be the best look, so I'm going with the posters who say the torso isn't long enough for you.

Personally, I think the dress is a keeper for some occasion when you need conservative with a little zazz. The style would not be my favorite for most circumstances, but the color just brings it to life. That dress in a navy blue would be too matronly, I think. But I like it in the green. Maybe for a non-funeral, non-wedding church service. A holiday church service; maybe a job interview; lunch with elderly Aunt Fifi or something.

I may have pulled the dress down before the first picture.
