So a house right around the corner went up for sale yesterday and DH and I started talking about how much we would love to buy it. We are crazy, I know. It's the same size as our house now just has the best lot in the neighborhood. We have 1 acre and that house has almost 3! And it has the biggest trees while we have almost no trees. Sigh. If only one of our parents could afford to buy our house so we could move around the corner. Built in babysitters for the win.

bk1- you guys have built your perfect house, just how you want it! So much money and time...and now you have the shop too. Honestly, I cannot fathom 1 acre let alone 3...we do not have properties like either of those here (at least not average homes). That would be a ton of yard work for DH and a deal breaker for me (more work for him means I will parent that much more).
About to wake C. Going for a walk this morning before My Gym.
I am getting antsy to start running again and was slightly disappointed when I found out my PP appointment is not scheduled til 11/8 (which is totally normal and realistic, just much later than last time when I was seen and released at 3.5 weeks). I am hoping to run more this time of for no other reason than to help with my mental health.

I feel like I am barely staying afloat lately. So much to do, not enough time!
I went to Aldi this morning and was excited to see they have fall flavored creamers, I got pumpkin spice and salted caramel mocha. DH tried to buy me a pumpkin one at the regular grocery store last week and they didn't have them yet.

So tired. Blah. But got some news today (BFP mentioned - not me!). Found out my friend is pregnant! She was one of my bridesmaids and her H was H's best man. I know she had gone back and forth about having a 3rd so either they decided to go for it (she's done with school now and wanted to wait for that) or they had an oops, lol. Either way, I'm excited!

I have already ran a ton of errands and have a load of laundry in! Bought invites for friends baby shower, booked the venue! I'll write and Mail invites tomorrow. Busy, busy, busy!
I am now going to clean out the car and do a few dishes. Then write out a congrats card for a friend and write my grandparents 60th anniversary card! It's such a great example they have set for a happy marriage!!!

I always read your posts about all the stuff you get done every day and I think wow, I really need her energy!
So, apparently I'm 12 years old. I was looking up reviews on infant bath mats on Amazon and saw THIS GEM:
"The bath mat looks totally cute in my daughters dick theme bathroom. I'm so glad I found it because I'm always worried about falls. I don't want my daughter falling and hitting her head in the tub. It sticks really nice because it has a lot of sucktion cups underneath. "
Who decorates their kid's bathroom with dicks? (Clearly, she mean ducks, but I almost spit out my chai tea.)
Realistically we have at least $50k in equity in this house since we bought it so it wouldn't be a bad financial decision. We could sell ours for more then what the other one is listed for. And we both want more land. But we also don't need to take on such a huge project again and we have our house almost completely like we want it.
I swear DH and I live in chaos on purpose. Once things calm down we look for a reason to stir everything up again. It's like we are addicted to the crazyness.

HoneySpider Don't be fooled, my house is a mess and I'm tired all the time, but if I don't use my time wisely nothing would ever get done. Plus I only get one maybe 2 days off a week and don't like to spend my whole days off doing chores and catching up, so today I'm pulling a long chores and work day to have tomorrow to relax and catch up on fun stuff. But I so appreciate the compliment. (also I don't have any minions to drain my energy, I applaud everyone who works and has kids, I could not do it, you are a rock star)

I woke up way too early on my day off and it has killed my motivation. Instead of doing anything I am just looking up organization ideas. It is hot here again and it makes me sad.
MrsMB- we have done that a few times, it is fun. We don't have a GPS though and using our phones doesn't work everywhere. We have friends who go out and spend 6-7 hrs a weekend doing it and they have a blast.
I would be laughing at that description too and I would probably send dh a picture of the screen. Check your words before you post online. Lol
HoneySpider- I feel you on the time thing. Can I add more time to each day?? I need to sleep more and be more productive!!
travelbug- I am also impressed at how much you get done all the time. Do you have holidays coming up? I will pay for you to fly to me and help with my todo list that's a million items long.
I had a doctor's appointment today and DS2 passed his non stress test. We discussed preeclampsia some more and my doctor said it's usually slower progressing with second pregnancies so she still thinks I have a chance of making it to 37 weeks despite my BP slowly creeping up. My appointment next week will include an US to double check baby's growth.
Then I came home and napped all afternoon. I did nothing productive today and I'm about to go pick up W from daycare. DH bought him a kolache this morning to eat for dinner so I don't even have to worry about what to feed him. Win!
Oh, and when I told my mom about my labs and how the preeclampsia hasn't progressed to my liver she was like, "It can progress to your liver??!?!?!?!?". Lol. I was like nevermind, just don't google.
I'm convinced travelbug doesn't sleep. Or she's a robot. I know no one else that can get done as much as she can in a day! I only wish I could do half of what she does!
MrsMB, the one time we did geo.cache at college, the police were called on us. My roommie and her H were the ones we had gone with, they were regulars.

I'm getting frustrated with my mom. I appreciate that she does so much for us and E, but she keeps buying holiday related stuff for him. Like this summer she bought a 4th of July outfit, but I already had. She seemed offended and said "I guess I'll return it". Now they (my mom and sister) got him a Halloween costume. I haven't even for sure decided what I wanted him to be! I guess they got it cheap but still. Am I crazy thinking I should be able to have some say in my kid's holiday outfits? Buy him all the every day clothes you want, but holidays should be up to us. /endrant
So I finished the first episode of AHS and I like it so far. It's interesting how they have interviews and the "recreation" with different actors. Having a haunted house with paranormal activity makes me nostalgic about season 1. *TRIGGER WARNING* there is a pregnancy loss in the first episode.
I've hit and miss watched some AHS but personally I like to wait until it's on Netflix because it's creepy and I like to move on to the next episode faster. I don't like the wait time watching new seasons.
We watched freak show. Is hotel worth it? I don't think it's on Netflix yet.
