Sending lots of thoughts and prayers for your sister and her baby. Glad things are looking as good as possible and hope everything continues to go as smoothly as possible for her.

Another update: She is not having any contractions and the NICU doctor seems optimistic that the baby will stay put for at least a few more days, but we all know that can change in a flash. The baby is breech, which is a good thing because a breech baby is less likely to want out. She'll be in the Neonatal unit for 2 or 3 days but as long as the baby is ok and there is no sign of labor or infection she'll get to move out to a regular room for the long haul. Right now she is getting steroids, fluids, and magnesium through an iv. The cut-off to stay at that hospital is 28 weeks and 1000 grams. She is 28 weeks, and they're estimating that the baby is about 2 lbs. (just shy of the 1000g mark). Hopefully the steroids and a few more days in will allow him to grow pass the weight limit and when he's born they won't have to transfer to Louisville.
Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers. I'm just beside myself and feel so helpless for her.

Thank you everyone. Prayers and thoughts are doing wonders.
My sister is still rightfully terrified, but much more at ease. The doctors are mainly concerned that she might develop an infection at this point. The baby is maintaining a strong heartbeat and looks great.
