Don't participate - they are trolls. You participate and you drive up the trend and attention. Most of the tweets I saw when I searched #repealthe19th were by people saying that idea is ridiculous.
As pissed as I am about this, I respectfully disagree. I think it should get LOTS of attention and re-tweets. That way, maybe we (general) can force Trump to comment on it.
They might be joking about repealing the 19th amendment, but voter ID laws have already stripped the rights of hundreds of thousands if not millions of Americans.
Let's bury these fuckers under a landslide on Nov. 8.

This is already coming up in my facebook feed. My friends are reacting in a negative way saying he is crazy. This may start picking up speed quickly. Part of me wants to say keep talking, and part of me says stop, because it just keeps more crazies coming.

And honestly, the people saying things like "Women don't belong in politics" etc., I believe they actually do think that way. Nothing surprises me anymore after the last year in politics in this country. I absolutely think there are large groups of men and women who believe this vile shit wholeheartedly.

Hopefully all of the women for Trump will waive their right to vote and stay home. Although, Trump told everyone at his rally to remember to vote on November 28th, so there's that.
ETA: jojoandleo: I just realized you beat me to this! That's why I need to read the whole thread first!
I know my experiences as a white woman can't compare to, say, a Muslim woman in the US who wears a hijab and probably faces discrimination and bigotry on a daily basis, but... This is one of the few instances in my life where I honestly feel directly persecuted. People are calling to strip me, personally, of my rights. I'm practically hyperventilating, over here.
This is how I've felt since I first read this on FB. I can barely contain the rage I feel.

I'm glad they're doing this.
It shows their misogyny for what it is.
Usually they try to hide their contempt for women behind a fetus fetish. They can at least pretend there is a reason besides misogyny for that. There's no disguising what this really is.
Long live the Republican death march into oblivion!
I know this is a smart group of women, and I am sure everybody is registered and ready to vote. In fact I know. Get out there and ask other women if they are registered. Just ask friends, coworkers, etc. This is nuts.
I volunteered on Saturday to do voter registration b/c PA's (and several other states') deadline to register was yesterday.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
I don't know how my body is going to handle this level of rage for a sustained period of time. Fuck every last one of these disgusting, despicable, deplorable assholes.
Every single time I was given a history assignment to present about something in history, I chose women's suffrage. I am seething with rage. Get in the basket.
