1. Why the release of these things had to happen RIGHT NOW.
2. Why they revived their twitter account after a year of silence to broadcast their release.
3. Why they described Fred Trump as a philanthropist.
4. Why they introduced the Rich files as "William J. Clinton Foundation:" when according to Newsweek the actual files do not make clear any ties to the foundation.
You know, I was off in my bubble. I was certain that there was nothing to worry about. I avoided threads here to lower my blood pressure, and now...well, now I really wish I could smoke a bowl, or eat ten brownies.
I'm just confused by how lame it is. It's like they WANT the public to think they're interfering with the election (but, how much is putting a misleading title on old, still highly redacted, documents really "interfering")? It's nothing new, nothing even very interesting. It's weird.
So can the DNC like, sue the FBI? I still want to know how one goes about bringing about Hatch Act violations.
At my agency, Office of General Counsel investigates. I think it falls to the ethics specialists. I think if it's anything serious or a higher level employee it gets referred out.
My friend's H works in OGC for and does some of that work and apparently it is taken very seriously.
Something seems rigged but it's not against Dumpster fire.
UHHHHH- remember how he says the opposite of every single thing; accuses HRC/ others of exactly what he's done?!? WHAT IS GOING ON?!? Has FoxNews said anything on this? H says to hear what the other side is saying to be sure I'm not being too one-sided. Does anyone know? (I'm not by a tv till Cubbies are on...)
Text I'm sure most of us just received: "BREAKING: Today's WaPo-ABC News tracking poll: Trump: 46 Hillary: 45
Chip in $3 to our GOTV fund now and make sure we win next week:"
Corey L. was just on CNN saying we "should not question the FOIA or FBI in any way shape or form." Oh OK. Hear that? Just shut up and don't question the government. At all. About anything.
What the fuck is going on? (Said more in response to the FBI than Corey because it's expected out of him).
All the random tweets are just pulled from the "news" page- I believe it's a bot/automatic. It is extremely odd that it posted the old posts "backwards" (putting the second most recent one, the Fred T.Rump one on Twitter first) and the timing of it magically working again is just... dumb. It is creepy because it's so dumb.
I don't like this one bit. When it was just Trump/Fox/Breitbart spreading bullshit, that was one thing. But the FBI? Don't like it. What happens when she wins? The people doing this are still there.

Yes, let's listen to the guy on the Trump campaign's payroll about who is a legitimate source of information.
