Adorable! Congrats on your adoption
We did a foster adoption for DD1. It was a long road, but the day her adoption finalized was full of joy and relief. I still remember how I felt and it was 7 years ago.

My poor poodle doesn't have any contact with his birth family now and hasn't had any visits since he came in to care </3
I have tracked down all extended family members and documented everything I know so when he is ready we can reach out. I do want him to have a relationship with them if he wants to. Mom is probably not an option unfortunately.
this info.
Oh man, that is wild I honestly have no idea what I would do, maybe meet in a public place or agree to set up a private generic FB page so they can get updates and see pics but nothing else?
T's mom is very ill, so her life expectancy probably isn't long.
I have a sort of somber question. Do you still have other fosters in your house? Do you think all the hoopla over his adoption upsets them? By all means, you deserve it and he deserves it, I just wonder how other kids in the house feel about it.
A friend is fostering and her two sets of foster kiddos are at varying points in their termination journey. She's hoping to push back the adoption of one so that she can finalize all four on one day. ❤️
What a beautiful little boy. You are amazing and he's lucky to have been adopted by such a wonderful family. It must be so joyful for all of you! I am in awe of you guys, the way you are able to open your hearts and home to children that have faced unfortunate circumstances in their young lives. It is beautiful. Congratulations.
