I pulled out my moby wrap and wore baby wick for the first time, to her first hockey game. I wasn't sure if she would be cold in her car seat so wearing her was the best option. She loved it. She was upset before I put her in it and then she snuggled into my boobs and was out within minutes. Lol.
My niece (who's game we were watching.) was so excited that we brought baby wick. She is so cute with her, she is so shocked that babies are so small. Lol.

Who's snowed in? We have 4-5 inches, not too bad. I spent most of the day on the couch reading, watching TV and fiddling around on the internet, oh, and watching the birds play in the snow. Finally got big cat to lay in his new bed by layering it with a heating pad and towel from his other sleeping spot. He's so happy and comfy.
I've had some weird cramps the last couple of days, hoping she is just stretching out in there. My appt on Wednesday can't come fast enough.
Ugh, we have sooo much snow and it's so freaking cold! We spent the day inside, cleaning and organizing and purging. I still have to go through DS's closet and swap out the 3-6 month clothes for 6-12. Glad to be kept busy but not looking forward to the cold weather sticking around all week.
It's unseasonably cold here right now and I hate it. I almost had to scrape the car today. I haven't had to suffer a proper winter in 10 years, so yes, I am a poor excuse for a Canadian.
We did a little party for A today. I put her in a nice dress, got dressed up myself, made cupcakes and opened a bottle of prosecco. A... didn't seem to care. She did eventually manage to pick apart her cupcake, but I could tell she hated having the icing on her fingers - she kept trying to shake it off. We popped a few pieces of cake in her mouth, and she said 'yum yum' but didn't seem interested in eating more. Haha, oh well. She is obsessed with cheese. Maybe next year I'll just give her a big block of gouda with a candle in the middle.
We had T's bday party last night. I went overboard for a small party with super close friends and immediately family (less than 20 people including us). We are his favorite foods, read his favorite books and played toys. We had so much fun!
boiler717, that looks amazing! Can you come here and organise another party for A? Actually, forget A, wait until summer and organise MY birthday party.

Haha Yes! We hope to make it to Banff soon so maybe we will swing over to your part of the country, too!

Well A and I might have to move out that way anyway - it's a long story. But definitely let me know your plans because even if we don't move, we've travelled to/through Calgary twice in the last 6 months and I anticipate doing it again a couple of times this year.
loira- come visit us, the temps have been in the -15C to -20C range for weeks.
@broiler717- Banff is somewhere I've always wanted to visit, and it's only a 10 hr drive from where I've lived most of my life. Lol
DH and I plan to go sometime this summer, we are going to try and do lots of traveling this summer while I'm on Mat leave as it will be harder with my work schedule after that. It's supposed to be beautiful!
awick14, ha not right now, thanks. I've no desire to drive the Coquihalla in this weather. However, I think we should do a get-together this summer. Maybe with boiler717 in Banff? We could hike Johnston Canyon with the babes (it's an easier hike).
