I hate when I forget to wash my face in the morning. Especially when I realize it while I'm out and about. There's nothing I can do and my face feels soooo gross!

I did the same thing yesterday. I always wash my face and lotion it before leaving. I had to come back home.

My doctor wants me to go in for BRCA testing since I have family history of breast and ovarian cancer on both sides and am approaching the age of watching things a little closer. But I'm super hesitant, and probably won't get tested, because who the hell knows what is going on with healthcare in this country and if I am positive I'm not sure I want that in my medical history. I work in clinical research and know better than this.
I'm pretty sure my h randomly bought me a sleep styler.
I mean, he definitely bought one, unless our credit card was hacked and they decided they NEEDED a sleep styler, lol. And I can't think of who else it would be for... so strange.
I need ham like water Like breath, like rain I need ham like mercy From Heaven's gate Sometimes ham salad or casserole or ham that’s free range, all natural I need ham
We just had lunch and then did some shopping for DS. We got him a convertible car seat, and then I went a little nuts buying some spring outfits. We have school photo day on Thursday and I couldn't decide on an outfit, so bought 4.

It's my birthday! I said for my birthday I want sleep and wine. My parents took my son for the weekend and I stayed in be until noon. I've done nothing so far today and I want to feel guilty, but I'm not. Also, I took a Vicodin for root canal pain so all of my give a fucks are gone. It's cold outside and I might just watch a movie and nap for a bit.

What is a sleep styler?
I guess it's some sort of curler type thing that you sleep in. It's just so random! Like, how did he even come across something like this?

My question is: what if your hair never really dries unless you dry it? Like with a hair dryer. Bc I've done similar things before and my hair is still wet. Sometimes when i braid it after a shower, it's still wet 24 hours later.

I was in NYC last weekend, I'm in DC this weekend and in 2 weeks I'll be in Florida. I love my weekend getaways but I'm already looking forward to next weekend of being home and doing nothing but relaxing and working out.

My friend had it done privately, it's not in her 'record'.
Do you have info on this? I need to do it, but I am also hesitant. I have enough medical issues without adding more.
AW - I'm recovering from an injury so had to do the 5k in DC today instead of the half marathon. I was kind of disappointed about that. I just checked my time and I ran 8:36 per mile pace. That's the fastest I've run in a couple of years! I ran 2 miles to the start before the race and my legs felt really good, so I'm thankful that I think my injuries are over, knock on wood. I didn't really train as I just started back running last week, so I'm pleasantly surprised with my time. I've officially started training for triathlons, so this is a good boost to kick off the training season.
ETA: But it's quite a ways off the 6:00 miles I used to run in high school and college, whomp. I know I'll never get back to that, ha. Reality hits!

She paid out of pocket to have the test at a facility where they do it. That's really all I know, she got the results, but they're not like in her 'medical record'.

H has Lana Del Rey on and one of her songs ("Radio,") reminds me of another song, but my brain doesn't want to completely process what it's imagining so I have no idea what it is and it's annoying. All I remember is that it's a slow-ish song and I'm pretty sure the singer is a British male.
DH and FIL took the first step in doing the nursery. I'm super happy with it. Our furniture doesn't come until late April so this is pretty much it for a while.

We looked at a house today.....It. Was. Amazing. H got cold feet since we weren't even meeting with our realtor until next week to talk about what we wanted - it was all too fast for him. I'm trying not to be disappointed because I totally understand his point - but ugh. It was so pretty. So, so, pretty. And it had a wine fridge in the kitchen. Lol
Got my rings soldered together today. They look brand spanking new and so clean. Now we're having popcorn, homemade shamrock shakes, and watching basketball.
