No, not yet. They came back with no concessions whatsoever even though we made an extremely fair offer. We came up a little but it's our best and final. Waiting to hear back. Knowing what they paid, they'll probably break even or make a slight profit. That's not our fault.

Eh, if you want the house don't give up until it's over. The second house we bought they rejected our best and final and then came back a week or two later and asked us to resubmit it. (We had already come to terms with not getting it so this was a big surprise to us.)
I know it is stressful but it will work out one way or the other and you'll either buy or build and end up happy.

I had a similar experience as Aurora in that our offer was rejected, 2nd offer was rejected...so we walked but heard through the grapevine a month later that they got another contract and it fell through so we put back in our offer and they took it.
