I love my Todd Reed ring. It is nontraditional but suits my style. The center diamond never snags because of the setting. It is more basic than a lot of his designs now (band of raw cut diamonds with a center stone).
This is my set. I'd pick it again if I had to. I love that it's simple, but sparkly. It's timeless IMO. My mom liked it so much that she actually reset her rings which no longer fit to match my rings. LOL
I'd keep the same set. He designed the ring, and it was blessed by our priest. So, I'm sentimental about it. I'd like to add another matching channel set sapphire band, a top the e-ring for year 10 anniversay, next year. This is the wedding band I have below my e-ring.
I wasn't asking about upgrading. Pretend your actual ring blessed by the priest is gone. What would you do then? Get the same ring you got ten years ago or go for something different as your style or life has changed?
I liked it then and I still do but I feel like it's pretty basic I don't know. My style has changed a lot since then. For our ten year wedding anniversary DH helped me design my own ring. I feel weird posting a pic of it here since it's one of a kind, but it looks kind of like this with a little less bling:
I'm obsessed with it. It was supposed to be a supplemental ring like maybe right hand or every now and then whatever but I wear it everyday on my left hand. My wedding set has gotten sadly sidelined. It is rose gold, so maybe someday that will go out of style and I'll want to go back to a more classic piece? I get compliments on it constantly.

WTF? I gave you an appropriate answer. I said I'd keep the same set, and add the additional channel set sapphire band posted above.
Yeah.... if she broke the rules than so did I because I answered with an actual upgraded ring scenario. What difference does it make?
@kirkette , your rings sound beatiful. I can understand being sentimental and wanting to replace with the same style. We actually insured our rings before the wedding just in case something happened on the beach. I still can't get over the effort H went to finding an estate stone so we were more eco-friendly and budget friendly, etc.
I have an asscher cut solitaire in a tacori style band. I still love it, but if something happened to it, I'd probably look for an art deco style ring.

My set was stolen. I got the exact same set, a simple channel set with a square center diamond, but had it sized to fit my middle finger because it is more comfortable for me, due to having burned my ring finger years ago. I got a thin white gold band for the wedding finger.
ETA, I love my current rings, and they're very sentimental to DH (they were his mom's, who passed away when he was a little kid). I do wish I had something very, very simple to wear at work
I really like these. Can you share where they're from?

I cannot for the life of me find the ring again. If I find it, I'll post it.

There were many styles I liked when we were getting married, but what I have has really grown on me over the years. I can't imagine replacing with anything but as close to the exact same thing as possible. Though, I'm also pretty lazy. If my rings were lost or stolen, I very well might not get around to replacing them at all.
This is sort of timely as I lost my wedding band & e-ring recently. Of course it was the one day H, DS & I ran errands all over town so it could be a multitude of places.
I think I'll eventually get a plain white gold band to replace it. *sigh*
I love my ring. Princess cut solitaire with the platinum lucida setting and a plain wedding. I love that I can just wear the band when traveling and that it represents where we were in life when we got married so I wouldn't upgrade.
That was the e-ring I always wanted, although it was definitely not in the budget at the time. It would still be a top contender if I had to replace my current rings.
If I got a set, next time I would either get the wedding band with no stones or an eternity band. Mine has channel set diamonds halfway across, and I'm always spinning it back around.

Love the Lucida. My e ring was designed based on it. I would get something similar again.
My wedding band also has diamonds, but only halfway across like yours. Drove me crazy with it spinning around. I had them soldered together. Life changing! I love it!
