1. Protest in Boston (we're supposed to go into the city on Saturday and am trying to figure out how much of a shit show it's going to be) 2. Not a nightly thing, but "lullabies" include L-O-V-E, Sweet Child of Mine, or Storybook Story (That's the song from Princess Bride. We walked down the aisle to it) 3. Yup, all the time.

1. What was the last Google (or whatever search engine) search you did on the device you are on *rightnow*.
Date night in a box. It showed up on my fb feed and as H and I work like crazy and have 2 kids under 3, our one on one time could use some help. I checked it out but am still not sure. Has anyone on here tried it?
2. If you sing, what do you sing for your kid(s) at bedtime?
You are my sunshine and rock a bye baby. Or on special request my version of let it go which involves me making up 90% of the words and then belting out "the cold never bothered me anyway"
3. Kissing kids on the lips. Do you do it?
Yes. And sadly my toddler thinks it's really funny to use tongue so lip kissing may take a break until she quits that. It's like kissing a puppy on the mouth. Yuck.
BONUS: What are the last 3 searches you've done on your device? (cue ominous music...)
Mine is boring bc I'm traveling for work. Two of them are googling each flight number in separate pages so I knew the landing gate and takeoff gate in Atlanta. The one before that was a last minute hope that I wouldn't have to check a bag. I asked google if a breastmilk cooler counted as a carry on. Sadly it does
vavavictoria, I want to try that subscription out too! DH was surprisingly on board, but we haven't officially signed up yet. I'll let you know if we do.

1. I played the crab song from Moana on Youtube.
2. My DD has a playlist: Happy Birthday, Rockabye Baby, ABC song, Let it go, True Colors, and sometimes she asks for the rainbow song (aka Somewhere Over the Rainbow). DS does not like my singing except for an occasional rendition of You are my Sunshine at random times - which he will sometimes ask me to stop singing right in the middle. I have a terrible voice so I don't blame him. So for him I lay down with him for about 15-30 minutes and make-up stories. This is why bedtime takes an hour.
3. Hell yes. All the time. The day they start avoiding my kisses will be spent at the bar drinking tears in my beers.
BONUS: Moana video, Glass Castle trailer on Youtube, Gilbert Godfried's real voice

1. I searched for solar eclipse glasses. 2. I don't sing. 3. Yes. I show my love through affection - lots of kisses and hugs so like you, HeartofCheese , when they start avoiding my kisses, I will be a little heartbroken.
Bonus: shoes for my dd, middle school website looking for more info about schedule pickup which is today and looking for an optometrist in my network (because dd just told me that she only has one pair of contacts left - thanks for the advanced notice
1. Ain't My Fault Song by Brothers Osbourne because DD1 started singing it last night 2. You are My Sunshine, Rock a Bye Baby, Happy Birthday, Mary had a Little Lamb. I was just going through this list in the middle of the night bc DD2 came down with a fever and was inconsolable. As soon as I started singing, she calmed down. 3. Yes, but I prefer kissing their cheeks.
Bonus: Court records (just found out a friend is going through a nasty divorce and she said she was arrested because she went ragey when she found her husband in their bed with another woman), Game of Thrones review, Ain't My Fault Song

1. Disney credit card 2. Soft Kitty from Big Bang Theory lol I about lost it when I overheard DH singing this to DS on the monitor the first time and then my jaw dropped when it put him to sleep. 3. I kiss DS on the lips when he isn't sick. I don't kiss DD on the mouth yet because it does not matter when she last ate, there is a chance that she could puke in my mouth and no thank you. Bonus: Disney credit card, Disney Hawaii resort (brought to you by the Hawaii/Caribbean thread last week) and the name of the potential buyers.

1. "Best reusable sandwich bags" DS1 starts a pre-k program in two weeks where they have to bring their lunches. I am trying to be more environmentally friendly plus cost effective.
2. I do not generally sing for them at bedtime. We sing in the bathtub sometimes - last night it was "Jenny (867-5309)"
3. DS2 will kiss me on the lips sometimes, but I generally am not a kid lip kisser for health purposes.

1. I haven't been on this device (work laptop) since last Tuesday, and I just had to delete my browsing history so one of my work applications work run, so...I'm not sure.
2. DD likes me to sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. DS usually doesn't ask for me to sing him a song.
3. Generally no, because I'm kind of a germophobe. DD does like to kiss me on the lips sometimes, which is cute, and I will as long as neither of us is sick.
2. I'm not much of a singer, so that isn't part of bedtime. DS1 is currently obsessed with truck songs, so he frequently demands I sing songs about different trucks.
3. I generally aim kisses at cheek or forehead, but I don't avoid it when my kid kisses me on the mouth

1. I'm on my work computer, so the last 3 things I Googled were businesses I was researching.
2. DS requests "rock a time DS", which is what he calls Rock-a-Bye Baby, minus the lyrics that the cradle falls...lol. When he was a baby, it was Good Ole' Boys Like Me because it was a calm tune that I knew the words to.
3. Occasionally I'll kiss DS on the lips. But usually the cheek or forehead.
1. Julian Bakery Paleo Wraps - ordered for DD for back to school

3. No lips. Blech.
Other searches were the name of the afternoon sitter we meet Thursday, the parent portal for our district and recipes to put over cauliflower rice.

We have recently switched to listening to a Moana song at bedtime followed by True Colors from trolls. Before that they always requested Silent Night.
3. Kissing kids on the lips. Do you do it?
No I don't think I do. Normally it's the top of their head or their cheek.
BONUS: What are the last 3 searches you've done on your device? (cue ominous music...)
I searched for the TFER (Texas Food Establishemnt Rules), Pandora and a Go Fund Me Page (for the funeral expenses for a gentleman who recently passed away that worked at our local bike shop and taught DS to pedal a bike -- so very sad!! I was planning to take DS back to him and take DD as well).
2. We sing everything before bed. But the song she usually wants to hear last is either Soft Kitty or Jesus Loves Me.
3. I try to stick to cheek and forehead kisses to avoid spreading illness, but sometimes she grabs my face and plants one on my mouth. I do not object to this.
Bonus: milk causing toddler constipation, Daniel Tiger, and Baby Moana
2. I sing a goodnight song that I think my mom made up and sang to us when we were kids and sometimes You are my sunshine.
3. Yes, but usually only at bedtime.
BONUS - really boring things as I'm figuring out our Fall schedule and finances. School district website, Dance school website, and before and after school center.
1. I googled the weather in my city. It's been a little unpredictable lately! 2. Usually we will sing a song together, or I will get shouted down to stop singing (which I used to do to my own mom....circle of life) 3. We kiss on each cheek, then on lips, then D goes "Ahhh!" I guess she got that from SO.
Bonus: Lun-Yi Tsai, who is a mathematician and artist. His name came up in a book I was reading about the history of SoHo in NY.

BONUS: What are the last 3 searches you've done on your device? (cue ominous music...) date night ideas, college football schedule, and a bar I was meeting my brother at
I'm laughing that more than one person said "Soft Kitty." We do that one sometimes, too!
I always laugh at how much that one has stuck. We also sing soft horsey, soft doggy, soft daddy, soft DD and any other animal that she has with her in her bed. It gets pretty exhausting!
1. Trying to find the contact info for someone at another institution. I need to provide legal notice to her and the fax number is incorrect (WHO FAXES?!?!) and her email is not provided.
2. We rotate through ABCDEFG, ABCD Dinosaur, Lights (Journey), and Paradise City (GNR).
3. We're cool with lip kissing.
Bonus: "Correlation between BRAF mutations and low grade gliomas", "Is using ioMRI in gangliglioma resections better?", and "How to get an online second opinion?". Yaaaaay brain tumors!
