This weekend is sweet sixteen weekend for my niece. I'm really excited. Today is the fun "Club Niece" party and tomorrow as my sister says is "the old people" brunch celebration with extended family and friends.
I am recovering from a really random dream, that I actually had to write it down afterwards. It threw me off a little bit. Basically, my deceased mother and I were at se type of fair or something, and I forgot something and went to get it. I was taking too long, and she came to get me and was like don't you want to go with me all the while The O'jays "Stairway to Heaven" was playing. Weird and unsettling.
Fall yard work is on the agenda today and putting summer stuff away, getting the storage shed cleaned out and ready for lawn chairs, and other items that will go in there for winter storage.
I'm going to the Chipotle Cultivate Festival with my BFF. There are bands, celebrity chefs, 20+ restaurants, a bunch of microbreweries, etc. Then DH and I might go apple picking with two other friends.
I'm up super early for a race. I'm doing a half ironman today! I super excited, but getting nervous. I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast but I have a bit of a nervous tummy!
9 mile run which felt pretty good. Breakfast and coffee with my two mutts. Going to start cleaning the house in a few and then we have friends coming over tonight for dinner.
I took a sleeping pill last night and slept for 8 hours - the most since ds was born. It was amazing. DH got up when the baby did so I wouldn't have to.
Today my sister is coming for a visit and I'm thinking about going to the market.
Ugh...morning. I was up every hour with a constipated gassy baby who finally accomplished his business at 7am.....it was nice of him to then let us sleep 'till 10am but I'd have preferred noon
My mom's coming to visit later....maybe I'll cop a nap, teehee.
Been up all night cluster feeding the baby. I'm hoping for breakfast and a nap. That's about as far as my plans go. I can't wait until I'm fully recovered from the delivery so I can go places again.
I don't think I've seen you on here since the baby was born! Congrats!! How are things??

Good Luck! I'm sure you'll go great!
I'm trying to get motivation for my tempo run. I love that it's been cooler here so I don't have to get up and go first thing in the morning.

Thank you!! Things are pretty great, despite the fact that I feel physically crappy most of the day, haha.
She was born Tuesday, and she is awesome. Episiotomy...not so awesome. She also bruised my tailbone on the way out, but I know all this is temporary and I'm really enjoying the baby
Aww that's great to hear! Hope you heal up soon. Are there baby pics on MMM?

I was exhausted last night, so no fun for me.
Now it's 6:30 here; DH just left for a volunteer thing and I'm debating between being lazy and staying in bed or getting up and working through the weekend chore list so we have less to do this afternoon.
ETA: Just saw your post, LS! Congrats! She's beautiful!

Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
Oh dear god -- last night was a coworker's birthday party and I definitely tied it in a little tight (until I got home at 3:30). I just got up but am planning on eating breakfast and then going back to sleep until 4 or so despite the fact that it is a gorgeous day here. I am undecided on whether I am still drunk or just really hazy from being hungover.

LOL. This was me last Sunday. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
I am at work now - boo! But I had an extra fun last night. We put DD2 to bed early and made a fire in the fire pit with DD1. We roasted marshmellows and ate ice cream way past her bed time. Snuggled under a blanket and made up stories about the different stars. She eventually fell asleep by the fire and DH and I just sat up and talked. Perfect night!

It's nothing that a 6 hour nap won't fix
I was hungover going into it and I tried to disco nap before I went out and couldn't fall asleep, so I think I need lots and lots of sleep (once the kitties stop meowing incessantly).
I took a CW dinner last night (she had a mastectomy and had just come home from the hospital). She wasn't on any pain meds, so I was happy to provide the medicinal carbs and wine she requested. It was great to see her in good spirits and a really fun night ( even though the hard part--chemo and radiation--is still to come. )
Now I'm trying to get my butt out the door for a. 6 mile rub. Yuck.
