I was trying to be MM by printing my own invites for DS b-day. HOWEVER, the stupid printer keeps printing them out of alignment and I have no idea why. I print one that is perfect and then the next one is completely off leaving a large white gap at the bottom. I have no idea why the heck this is happening?
I know when I have printed invites that I need to do them one at a time. Rather putting the quantity to print as say 10 I would do 1 and just keep doing it until it was done. For some reason when I put invites in for multiple quantities they don't seem to print correctly.

It sounds like it's pulling the second sheet before it's done printing the first one.
I'd put some regular sheets of paper in there & then put 1 sheet of card stock on top since most printers like to have more than 1 sheet in there. I'd just babysit it & print it one at a time.

No, I bought the paper pre-cut. HOWEVER, I have regular card stock, so I may just give up and print it on there and then cut them. I told myself it would be easier to not cut them. Apparently not!
Sorry Kari, I went through something similar when I was printing out DS' invitations back in May. The only thing that fixed it for me was to put a ton of regular paper underneath the card stock I was using.

Yeah, in print options there should be a "paper type", and also maybe a tab to switch on your printer itself for thicker paper. Otherwise, I've heard the suggestion of taping it to the center of a regular piece of 8x10 and running it through like that so the printer has a regular-thickness paper to grip.

If you can't get it to work I would go to a local print shop. Since you're providing the paper it shouldn't be expensive. (I would guess less than .10 per invite)

Yeah, it is already set to the right weight of paper. However, I have solved the problem! I am sending them to DH to print at work ha ha.
I am just so annoyed that it won't just work right. The first like 10 of them printed fine no issue than from there on out it hasn't freaken worked! Ugh

Yeah, this is my final option if DH's work can't do it. I think there is actually a print shop in my building.

I took my file (also bought on etsy) to staples. They printed them 2 to a page (mine were smaller) for like .67 (?) a page for card stock. Then I paid $6 for them to make all the cuts for me ($1/cut - they stacked all the paper and there were two vertical and four horizontal cuts. Turned out perfectly.
