I'm finishing up a blanket that has a border on all 4 sides and then a leaf pattern in the middle. I have finished with the pattern portion and am ready to begin the top border.
This is what the directions say:
"Continue repeating Border and Harvest Moon motifs until blanket measures approximately 13 (31, 41, 49) in / 33 (78, 105, 125) cm from cast on edge. End having worked row 3 of Border motif. Work increase row for specified size as follows:"
and then it gives the increase pattern for each blanket size. I finished the pattern and then did two rows of the border motif across the whole thing. Now I'm wondering if that was wrong. Should the increase row have been started while I was on row 3 of the border but still working on the harvest moon pattern in the middle? Do I need to go back a couple of rows or can I make it work from where I am?

I'm not super experienced, but the bolded is how I read it. While still working on the blanket body, start the increases after row 3 of border (then continue with increase/border instructions) is there a chart that could assist?
I took this to mean do "first edge, center pattern with border, first two rows of border edge, increase." Have you looked on Ravelry to see if the pattern has any comments?

I figured it out. I needed to start the border after the 3rd row while still working on the main body. I had to go back a couple of rows but I'm almost done with the border now. I've been working on this thing for months and am so ready to be done with it.
