Do you have a connecting flight? Could you get beer at the airport and just carry it onboard? Our bigger breweries all sell their stuff at the airport and you can just grab and go.
Good NE style IPAs are probably not sold at any airports
My husband just got back from Holland and he brought home a couple of bottles of beer in his luggage. Just wrapped it in clothes and didn't have issues. Funny enough, he brought home KinderEggs for the kids and those broke. LOL.

Yeah I’d doubt it, I can’t even get this beer at the liquor store I have to go to the brewery

And your husband is a contriband smuggling criminal.
Next time stick with assault rifles to stay above board.

Tree house, trillium? That’s the way most of them are.
Trillium mostly, also have some deciduous (nh). I’d love to add some tree house but it’s too far away, not worth driving hours. Trillium is near my office so I can go at lunch!
Check out the customs rules too. There are significant rules for bringing alcohol into the US, and I’m guessing that may be true in other directions as well.

I just looked it up, forgot about that! It says traveling to Ireland from outside the EU I can bring 16 liters of beer which is plenty for me

I am in NE and I trade beer a lot and ship to all different areas (mostly east coast IPAs - Trillium, Tree House, Alchemist, Hill Farmstead ). I've shipped cans, bottles and growlers. No casualties whatsoever. I've also received many shipments and never had any issues. I've also packed and checked bags of beers on flights. When I am shipping through FedEx, cans are always the most resilient. I use hardly any packaging materials. I typically cushion the cans with recycled grocery bags. Bottles and growlers I typically wrap the top with electrical tape and then wrap in bubble wrap, then put into some sort of bag that would catch most of the liquid if something were to happen.
When I bring beer on flights, I typically end up packing with other things, so I use the most caution there, mostly because I don't want my other stuff to get ruined. If it fits, I wrap whatever bottles or cans I am bringing in a old dish towel, and then use a food saver system. If I don't have that handy, I wrap in dish towels and then put into large zip locks.
Bringing beer to Ireland is 100000% worth it. I am sure your sister will be thrilled.

so do you think I could bubble wrap four packs without issue? I really don't want to bubble wrap each can, but then I don't want to regret it haha!
How do you like Tree house? I've heard it's excellent but have yet to taste any

yea. wrap the 4 packs and just get 1 of those large zip locks that you can store blankets in and throw them in there. You'll be good. The key is to not have extra room in the suitcase. Everything should fit snugly into whatever you're packing it in.
We love Tree House. We're only about 30 mins from there, so we go a lot. We've been going since the old days. I actually liked it a lot more back then. Now they have way bigger allotments so everyone goes in hopes to get beer. Lines are way longer. I am pregnant with twins, so we go a lot less now, but we took a trip there on Saturday. Waited 1:45, which is literally an hour longer than the longest we've ever waited. We've probably been there 30+ times. Key is to not care so much about being the first there. If you can swing it, go on a Wed or Thursday night right before closing. There's the chance that they might run out of some of what they had, but you'll definitely get beer and won't wait in the ridiculous lines.
