I'm definitely not working this summer. I'm upset, but realize there's nothing I can do about it. Everything will work out. I told DD she probably can't go to camp as much as she did last summer and she said, "that's okay. I'll stay home and we can go hiking. " So glad she loves to hike! When I was telling my mom about how agreeable DD was she said she's help pay for camp, so we shall see. I'm greatful.
DH and I are going out for Valentine's tonight. Not sure what we will end up doing, especially since I don't feel great, but it'll be fun.
DD's rescheduled birthday party is tomorrow. With such short notice not many of her friends had responded to the invite or said they can't come. I went ahead and invited some of her prek friends and now may be we have too many kids. Oops! It'll work out!
I got a call from a debt collector yesterday. I don’t have any unpaid debts. I pulled my credit to be sure and didn’t see anything. What should I do next if anything? This is stressing me out!
Ask them to send you a verification of the debt so you can see what it's supposedly for. Don't give them too much personal info though.
Omfg. I was changing my jeans in my office and I almost always lock my door so if it's closed you can't open it from the outside Boss walks in just as I'm putting one leg into my jeans so he basically saw my ass in underwear
amandakisser , good luck!! I hope you get the job! I went through a similar deal in the fall and didn’t get it. I was pissed! 4 interviews, two online personality tests and a drug test. There is no way I failed the DT so I don’t know why I didn’t get it. They seemed very intent on finding the best fit for their team so I’m guessing at least one person didn’t like me. So annoying and a waste of my time!

I am so ready for the holiday weekend. Work has been slow lately, so I'm basically just counting down until I can leave. Tonight I'm going to a fish fry and then to see Black Panther. Can't wait!

My bf got my dd an A's ⚾️ Kids Club membership ... like his son, dd plays Little League too. Such a cute and thoughtful gift 😊
One of the many things I love about him - how he makes it a point to include dd in things to. No doubt in my mind that as he was signing up his son, it was just as easy for him to click, without thinking too much about it ❤️
We've enrolled DS in a small private school where he will start K next year. The school often does weekend "family" field trip outings. We just received our THIRD invitation to an outing. About a month ago they had a Friday moving night at the school. A few weeks ago it was an invite to a basketball game. Last week - to a local nursing home to have breakfast with the residents and give them Valentine cards. We were unable to attend any of those. But Sunday we are able to attend their annual school maple tree tapping! The kids help with tree tapping, then go to the sugar shack to boil down the sap to turn it into maple syrup. Bonus: there's no fee to attend. We just show up!
I love how they always seem to have activities going on, and that they are inviting us to them already. <3
We were supposed to move about 35/40 minutes away but had to walk away from our dream home after the deal started to go south. I'm feeling a lot more at peace with our decision to stay put for a few years now that we're being pulled into this new school community.
Apparently, when you take "live" photos on an iPhone, you can pick a different frame for the main photo other than the one that automatically shows up. I'm sure that the entire world knew this, but I was just lamenting this morning how great it would be if I could do this with pictures of my dogs who are perpetual motion. Lame party of one.
DH's uncle unexpectedly passed away this morning. DH is devastated and I really don't even know what to do so I'm just cleaning my house since we will probably have friends in and out and dropping his suit off at the cleaners. Dh's dad was really hard on him growing up and his uncle was the one who taught him about cars (they are HUGE car nuts), taught him about boating, and just did the fun stuff with him that his dad didn't do. DH's cousin, his uncle's only child, is DH's best friend so he's over at the house with him, along with their other best friend right now. I just...don't know what to do. We've never had someone this close to us pass unexpectedly.

I subbed today in the threes and it was damn near a vacation vs the baby/toddlers I was working with. We walked to yoga at the library, it was hilarious watching them do yoga.

After staying up late to pick him up last night, bf and I slept til 10am, ate breakfast, and then napped til 2. Now we're getting ready to pick up DD from after school care. Best day off.
TR Valium made me fall asleep and collapse in the elevator on the way up to the doctor's office. Mom had to call for a nurse and wheelchair. Lol. Never tried it again, but I slept well through my procedure.
I’m going to see the San Diego Symphony perform Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban tonight! I’m so excited
Have so much fun!!
My son and I saw HP and The Sorcerer's Stone with the NJ Symphony at Rockefellar Center last April, and it was one of the best experiences Ive had. I'm taking all 3 this April to Hartford to see the Chamber of Secrets with the Hartford Symphony, and cannot wait!
I am attempting to create two different rides, one Strength and one endurance, and figuring out which songs to use where is tough. I need to ask if I can use the cycle room at the gym to try them out once i think I have the songs I want for each and then practice them.
K is sleeping. Fever all day, she nearly passed out while at the minute clinic which is something I have never witnessed with her and her flu test was negative. So, since her one ear looked a bit red inside like an ear infection is brewing, they gave me meds for that.
My cousin was arrested this week. He had 48 pounds of marijuana in his car, worth about $192,000.
He must have super high end weed if that's what they value it at, damn.
I'm realy hoping someone is willing to take my Monday night shift at my second job. It's a holiday for my first job, and it would be nice to have two full days off in a row.

This sounds adorable.
It totally was. They actually did pretty well until they had to wrap one leg around another. Then it was like dominos falling.

Yowza wambam. Compared to what I've seen pounds sold for, I was surprised by the price, but I see there were some other things mixed in. And holy crap, that realy sucks for all of them!
I am the laziest. I've had Christmas family photos sitting on my camera since...Christmas. I finally got disgusted enough with my sloth to upload them and order copies for everyone.

I saw The Chamber of Secrets at the Phoenix Symphony and it was so fun! I almost never watch the movies and I had forgotten how excellent Ron's facial expressions are in that one.
Today is my H's birthday and I had planned to make him a cake, but I can't stop sneezing and my nose is running like crazy, so I'm thinking cake baking is off the table, unless this clears up in the next hour or two. I feel fine otherwise, and the pollen counts for the area for my tree allergies are at the low end of moderate, so I really shouldn't be reacting to anything right now, so I don't know what's going on.
TR when they gave me valium the night before I got my Visian ICLs I was so high strung about the procedure it that it did nothing - it was supposed to help me get a good night's sleep, but I still just laid there nervous and awake. But my level of anxiety was such that they had to keep dosing me via my IV before they put in the lenses because my blood pressure was too high, and they were starting to look concerned about the level of happy drugs they were administering. LOL! I don't think I even got home and took a nap after all the drugs that's how wired up I was.
I need to brag on my kid for a minute. She's in K, and I just got her latest reading evaluation and shes at reading level G. Which is mid/late first grade level if my understanding is correct (county average expectation is level C at her age). She also knows 173/200 sight words (and I'm fairly certain that they didn't ask her the last 25).
I was out with a friend last night, and she was bragging on her kid. I didn't return in kind because this friend is BEC with me and always makes it about her, so I just let her go on. Now I want to brag. You guys will have to forgive me.
I got a raise and bonus and it was way more than I anticipated. I was able to knock out some major debt today which is timely because XH announced his move out date and it's like, next week. I'm happy, nervous and scared all in one. We have to tell DS this weekend. I'm worried about him.
