I once caused a deactivation on MMM. ME! Of all people! It was such an exciting moment for me but now I can’t even remember what it was about, so that’s disappointing.

WTF if your problem? Who said it wasn't a big deal? If anything it was a big deal which is why I asked for the thread to be deleted. Want to know about my dad? He died from stage 4 esophageal cancer so thanks though for making fun of him. Totally worth it to be seen as "cool".
I’m going to bed because I have court in the morning (I’ll let you guys decide if it’s because I’m a lawyer or because I got arrested for something hilarious), so don’t delete this shit while I’m gone.

Banker here. If a check is a LOT larger than normal, and if you're a known customer, the manager might have been questioning to make sure you weren't a victim of a scam.
We do that sometimes, with questions like, " do you know the person who have this to you?" "is this more than what you owed?" "was this money you were expecting?".
You have no idea how many people "win the lottery!!!!1!" But yet have never played...
That said, I didn't see the original post so I can't add anything further to this, other than to defend my friend and tell you that she's not crazy and is a kind and wonderful person. Based on the comments in this post, it seems that perhaps she overreacted to something, but that is definitely not the norm for her.

Her reaction to the dad comment made me think her loss was recent and for that, I am sorry.
I don't think she is crazy, I think her over reaction to some questions and comments just shows that she has something much bigger going on and it was coloring things.
I do hope she takes a step back and will not pursue anything with the guy at the bank who was just following protocol.
