What did you do with the diapers when you were done? I don't have anything fancy just BGs mainly and I replaced the elastic on them once. I suck at sewing so they work but the replacement is not pretty.
They are taking up way too much space and I want to get rid of them.
We donated them. I didn't want to have to meet one of the "OMG RETIRED COLOR!!!" people in person.
ETA: This clearly reflects how long ago I did CDs- we were on BG 2.0s. LOL I think it would be fine to sell them online if some of the craziness has died down, but, people were nutty back then!
I sold them on ebay in lots. I was primarily interested in getting them to someone who would use them, so I didn't really care if I got top dollar for them. I only had basically one kind (GMD prefolds) so I sold all the red together, all the green together, etc. And I think I gave the covers free when people bought the prefolds.
I have so many diapers and smaller sized clothes to get rid of. It is over whelming. I just want someone to take them away.
If you just want them gone and don’t care about making any money off them I think BG has a charity that connects families with financial need with free diapers so you might think about donating them to that.

I contacted a couple cloth diaper charities and they wouldn't take them. Said they were too old.
I sold them as soon as he stopped wearing them. They were in great condition and I made back pretty much what I spent on them. In your case, I'd just post them on a group to give away free stuff in your city on Facebook - we have a few and most are full of young moms with kids.

Gave them away to someone my mom knew. I have a few that were kinda expensive that I had made just just for Wesley. I still have those. I don’t know why.

I had a lot of diapers. I had them all professionally sanitized and have my SIL whatever she wanted. Then I sold a bunch of EUC BumGenius at a garage sale for $8 each and finally sold everything I had left, including like 7 BG to someone for $30. The the final group I just wanted to get rid of. Someone out and ISO on Nextdoor.
Sitting next to you on this one. We are moving in a month and I decided I am done even though ds isn't. Disposables until we get settled.
bahaha we're moving in 2 weeks and i already told G we're either using disposables once we move or potty training. i'm not washing diapers in the next house, and i for damn sure refuse to install a sprayer on the kids' toilet. REFUSE.
Yes! I mean it was a great run but three kids and two of them back to back have certainly taken the cute, novelty aspect of cds away.

How or where did you go to get them professionally sanitized?
Sold them as a huge entire lot, including wet bags, trash cans... all of it. I was thrilled!
How did you price this? I’d like to just get rid of them all and make a little money.
I mean, I know I won’t actually MAKE money on them, but like sell a huge lot/stash for like $50? Or $75? I’m not on FB but this makes me wish I were!
I had a pretty decent stash. I cloth diapered both my girls. After my first I sold what I didn't love or use often so my stash was a solid one, iykwim. I was able to keep it in pretty good condition. Honestly, I wasn't looking to make a fortune or recoup what I spent. I just wanted them gone. If I remember correctly I sold the whole lot for $250 and it sold in about a day on our local FB garage sale site.

Just seeing this. There is a diaper service in my area that will pick the diapers up and sanitize them and drop them back off. I’m in the twin cities.

Donated it all to Jillian's Drawers. They are local to me and they donate to low income women (they also do diaper service discounts under a certain income threshold).
Cloth diapers have gone through BIG changes since I used them on my kids back in the day.
Unlike today, there weren't fancy Velcro and All-In-One cloth diapers when I was diapering (1980's). Diapers (cloth) were flat sheet in style, which you had to fold to fit the baby or child you were changing, and to fasten we used diaper pins, then over top of the diapers went rubber pants which helped hold in the wet.
I turned my kids old leftover supply of diapers into window washers, counter wipers, and general purpose household dusting cloths.
Youngest child is 27 now, and those old diapers are still going strong.

I used prefolds and covers. I sold the tiny newborn covers right away because they sell fast. I used a fafebook cloth group. Then I gave everything else to my sister who uses floth and was planning on another.
