DH & I both took the day off to take DS into Boston for his GI appointment. The appointment went great, then we took DS to Franklin Park Zoo ( his third zoo trip in 5 days.) Christopher the old lion roared right at ds & ds just laughed. Also the baby monkey came over to the glass& played with ds. Also it is my turn to go to the gym after DS is in bed.

Got an offer on a rental property we're trying to sell. From the tenants. For exactly our asking price. So if this works out, no vacancy during the sale and closing - we collect rent right up until the last day. And with the proceeds, we can pay off a small mortgage with an obscenely high interest rate that we've not been able to refinance.

Finding out my DH was recommended to go to Italy for some type of training. The bad part of that, is I won't be able to go. This is his second work trip to Europe and work has gotten in the way both times.

I was dreading my afternoon meeting because I was sure that one particular person was going to create a crapload of work for me. The meeting went really well and I walked out with no items to action.
After the meeting I called home since DH was home with our 19 month DD today. Hearing her say "Hi Mom" on the phone was so sweet.
Since the meeting ending early, I decided not to go back to the office and got caught up on some errands that needed done.

I took my son to the fair and we ran into an old 4-H leader. We chatted with him for a while and walked around the fair for a bit with him. It is always good to talk with him, he is kind of like a Grandpa to me.
Having lunch with my mom and taking a nice walk in the beautiful cool weather with DH and the pups. I am also currently having fun surfing Pinterest for Halloween party ideas.
- birthday cake at work. - finding a j crew cardigan for $1. - awesome donations at work and good sales. (work in general was really good today.) - having a whole evening free to do whatever i please.
Target had frozen lasagna in sale for $5.99. All of the grocery stores around here sell it for $11.99. Yay for 50% savings!
My dog finally held his bladder all night! This was probably the first time in 4 years that this has happened. I'm hoping that he is finally starting to get the hang of potty training.
For the first time in what seems like forever, I had a good day and remained happy all day. I can't wipe this smile off of my face.

Today at work we received a preliminary look at how our health benefits for next year are changing and BCP's don't have a copay anymore! That saves me $80/year.
DH and I just booked plane tickets for a long weekend in Colorado to visit his best friend from college.

My daughter lost her shoe getting on the bus* today. An older gentleman noticed, asked the driver to wait, and went to look for it, just as I noticed it was missing. The driver was super friendly and insisted that we find the shoe before driving off.
I felt a bit dumb, but thankful that we found it and glad that everyone was so kind about it.
*The bus is a free shuttle that goes in a loop. One comes about every 10 minutes.
My H told me that a friend of his likes me. I had a little crush on him, too. I had to stifle schoolgirl giggles & blushing when he told me.
Attraction is a weird thing. It's rare for me to see or meet someone & feel that flash of attraction. It's only happened to me a couple times (apart from my H) in the last several years. It's fun when it happens, though. And even more fun when I know it's mutual.
