That wavy white tile in the shower is fantastic! So close now, huh?
Yep. Totally on hold now as we are waiting for the shower door, bathroom door, mirror, and final drawers now that the plumbing is done. Our contractor is out of the country for two weeks.
Love the designs! Too bad you have to wait for two weeks now, I bet you are anxious for it to be finished.
Yes so ready for it to be done! Tomorrow we are getting the drawers and shower door. Then it will be a few more weeks for the bathroom door but at least it will be useable!

We have a mirror and shower door! We can use it tomorrow!! Only missing drawer handles and the bathroom door. So close! At least we can move back in. We are currently all 4 using the hallway bathroom that has a single sink and no countertop.
if your doors aren't already spot treated, get some rain x and a squeegee to help keep them looking amazing.
Great idea! What kind of rain x? Do you just apply and wipe it off and it protects for a while? How often do you reapply? I’ve never had nice new doors before and we do have hard water so I’m totally trying this.

I don't know if they have different kinds. I just followed the instructions on the bottle. It works pretty well, but without the squeegee you may still get spots. If so, I've heard that the mr clean erasers work pretty well.

Water here is awful... water softener was our best investment ever... makes cleaning everything (including my own hair!) so much better.

We showered in it today. There isn’t enough water pressure to use all the shower functions at once which is what we expected. You can run 2 at a time with reduced pressure so really 1.5 work at a time. We can run both showers at once with no change to the pressure. Which was the whole point so I’m glad it works! The shower is good but I think it’s a bit too high so we will ask them to lower it 8 inches. I prefer a lot of water pressure as I have thick hair and this one is okay. Not the best, but good enough to keep.

We are done! We started the last week of July and ended the second week of Nov. The last 5-6 week delay was purely waiting for the door and getting it in. We love it and having the double shower has been nice when we are tight on time (which is always). We went about 25% over budget which was mostly due to picking more expensive tiles we fell in love with. Half the price was the contractor, the other half was materials. All in we are at $50k. Way too much for a bathroom, but we paid cash and love how it turned out and it’s not excessive for the neighborhood.
