A/C: 76 when we're home/awake, 72 to sleep, and 79/80 when we're gone
Heat: 68/69 when home awake and 62 when asleep/gone.
If it's nice enough in the spring/fall that I can keep it in between or close to those temps, then we open up the windows. I'm convinced I get the best sleep when we can open windows.
We burn oil on cooler spring/fall days, so 70. If the oven is on it gets turned down to 67-68.
In the dead of winter our average temps are below zero. We burn wood then so it's harder to truly control the temp. It's a much warmer, cozier heat and it's not unusual to see 78 on the thermostat or to have to crack a window. Kind of a pain but sooo much cheaper than oil and I like it warm. It's H and DS2 that get winey about being too warm. My response it to go stand outside for a minute. 🤷♀️

I'd be happy with keeping the heat off all winter but I live with people who are always cold. We have the A/C set to 78 in the summer but since SDG&E decided to jack up the rates this summer we have had it off since the end of August. I am so damn sick of being hot.
I think where you are is relevant. I live in Houston and keep my heat at 72 but I keep my a/c at 76-78 which is what we need about ten months of the year.
Yes. There are so many factors at play. location, humidity vs dry air, wind chill and age of doors and windows, home style and insulation, drafts, floors, vent locations.
I live in a 3 story condo in CT. My entry way is basically the garage, basement and doors. As I walk up to the main living space on 2nd floor you feel the heat hit you and I keep it at most 68. It's cooler but it's a big difference from outside temps as you go up.
Then the top floor is our bedrooms and my kids have bunk beds. But the heat vents are on the ceiling and my son on top bunk will roast overnight if I keep it set at 68 so we have to drop it to 65-66 and he still sleeps in a tee. I sometimes get chilly but just add a blanket.

72 year round in New England. This means our a/c usually starts running in early June to mid September and our heat kicks on mid October and runs through April. Yes I do realize this means I live in a climate controlled environment 10 months of the year. That’s the way I like it.

We burn wood too and I love the heat it gives off. We do set the thermostat so the furnace kicks in if we’re away or the house cools down too much at night. Otherwise I barely look at it.
72 year round. I refuse to be uncomfortable in my own home.
I don’t love keeping it cold in the winter (66) or hot in the summer (77) but it’s soooo expensive where we are to do something different, we save hundreds a month. It’s actually not bad after about 2 weeks of getting used to the new temp each season change.

We've still got the ac going here. Ac is set for 77 during the day, 75 when I get home and 72 to sleep. My heater broke in January and haven't gotten it fixed. The coldest it got in the house was about 58 but I have space heaters. When the heater worked I kept it at 66-68.
64.5 (well, 18 Celsius) during the day (at least when we’re at home), and as low as 57.5 (14 Celsius) at night. It doesn’t always go down that low at night, that’s just what it’s set at.
We have different temps in different rooms. Because we live with my MIL, we keep the downstairs at 21c, which is almost 70F - I don't know what temp her room is at as she controls her own temp there. Our bedroom tends to stay around 13C or 56F at night and then warm to 18C/65F when we wake up and in the evenings. When we lived on our own, we kept the house about 19C or 67F most of the time except night when it'd go down to 13C/56F.
I get cold, but I wear more clothing and have blankets to put on, so I'm fine with colder temps. My H runs hot so he'd prefer it to be colder downstairs but he deals with it. (we have underfloor heating which I love).
The AC is set to 74 when we are home, something hotter during the day at colder at night (DH set it and I don't care much). The heat is at 72 when home, colder when we are out of the house or asleep. We LOVE our programmable thermostat for assisting with the those temperature changes. DH is always a little too hot with the temps we picked, I am always I little too cold. We both deal with it.
Yesterday it was 65 in the house around 10:00 am, I turned on the heat. I was in a night gown, fuzzy socks, a heavy sweatshirt, and under a blanket - and I was still cold. So I turned on the heat, I don't want to be that uncomfortable, and the date on the calendar doesn't matter to me (it did to my dad growing up ). I turned it off again later (it got warmer out and I had the oven on), but I needed to get the chill out of my house.
Usually around 65, and 63 over night. In fairness, that is also the temp that we set our AC at in the summer. My H prefers the house on the cooler side, I've learned to just always wear pants and a sweater. I actually don't mind my 1+ hour commute in the winter, because it's the only time I'm actually warm, I crank that heat. Otherwise, I freeze in the office and I freeze at home.
