The hood is up and I’m really glad we went to the ceiling with the tile.
The last major thing inside is the light fixtures. We’ve had issues with the electrician this entire process and he’s rescheduled on the GC a few times this week and is now supposed to come on Monday. Then I think will come a walk through with the GC. There’s a bunch of little things they still need to fix. And lastly, they haven’t re-built the back deck yet. Idk what the hold up on that is but it hasn’t been our main focus since we’ve just wanted to get the inside livable. It’s all dug out, but I’m still a little worried with winter coming!

Perfect choices on both the hood and window, that's exactly what I would have done.
How much of a window covering do you want? We did a custom roman shade, but we leave it 3/4 open all the time since we don't really need it to be closed for privacy ever.
What other colors are you bringing into the room? I'd probably do something with a little bit of pattern bringing in that additional color, if that makes sense.
Here is the window wall. Anyone have suggestions for what type of window treatment to go here? Style and/or color?
Would it be for sun or for privacy? We have a bamboo roman shade over our kitchen sink window, but I've often thought about taking it down because it's purely decorative. When we get around to taking it down to paint the trim white in the kitchen (we're maybe 85% done with the house-wide transition from stained to white), I'm not sure it'll go back up. We don't need it for either shade or privacy, and I prefer to let as much light in as possible since our lot is fairly shady. We reno'ed our bathroom this summer, which has a window facing the same direction, and we didn't put anything on (except film on the bottom half for privacy).
Mrs.flang , do you need a covering for privacy/sun or asthetics?
If privacy's not an issue, I'd probably just leave it open. Your window is pretty low relative to the sink, so I'd be worried about your window treatments getting splashed and dirty. (I think that's more likley than you splashing grease on the tile up above the hood like some people suggested)
We don’t need privacy on that side, so maybe I should leave it open? I feel like it might look unfinished with absolutely nothing.
I’m not totally sure about other colors yet. It’s open to the dining and LR and I don’t have any other window coverings I want to reuse or plans for color scheme. We have a light grey ikea couch but I want to get new darker grey/blue slipcovers so I thought about doing navy or something with a navy pattern. Patterns scare me a little bit because I worry about coordinating, but sometimes solids seem too boring.

Then I would table it for now, no need to rush a decision. When everything else is done you will probably have a better sense of whether you want anything at all, and if you do, what you want it to coordinate with. This is a teeny stand alone project that can be totally separate from “finishing” everything else.
