I do. Putting political preferences out there isn't DH's favorite, so we compromise on putting one out no more than a month before an election. Although this year, when our senator's republican challenger is beloved by white nationalists, DH isn't nearly as reluctant to have signs out.
My DH is the same way, but I told him that until he actually votes in an election he doesn't get an opinion.
No. Mostly because we live in a total bubble and there are very few races that all my neighbors/anyone driving by would be uneducated on or disagree with us on.
The main reason I started putting election signs out is because I live in a very red area and I know how good it makes ME feel to see other democrats around me with signs in their yards or magnets on their cars. It's easy to feel isolated, it's nice to see you're not quite as alone as you think you are.

Oh, yeah, if DH weren't actually voting, no way would I compromise.
That does remind me to bug him about voting early since he'll be OOT for election day though.
We don't, and neither do any others at this end of a dead end street. Pretty much no one comes down here. There are scattered signs on the next street for local races though.
There is a guy at the corner where we turn in who used to have a Trump cardboard cut out on the utility pole by his driveway, with a flag and some kind of sign. It disappeared fairly soon after he put it up, was replaced and that one disappeared. I was relieved when he didn't replace it. It made me feel ill, angry, sad and everything else when I saw it. I avoided going that way, even though it is the most direct way for us. Prior to that, his yard was filled with anti Obama and anti Obamacare nonsense. Now it is just weeds, so an improvement.

I'm in Arkansas and have my Jared Henderson sign out. I'm getting my Josh Mahony sign on Friday and I'm so excited. I'm in a very red area and like eb777888 said, it makes me feel better to see blue signs so I hope that my signs help others feel less alone.
I was in Carrollton last week and saw plenty of signs for Beto but hardly any signs for Cruz. My BFF that lives there said she's actually pleasantly surprised by how many Beto signs she's been seeing as it's typically a 'Cruz' area.
We don't put signs out usually. Voting is frustrating here b/c people just go down the line and vote for their party rather than actually taking time to know about the candidates and their viewpoints/platforms/voting records.
I would like to, but my street is a secluded dead end with no traffic, so we would just be advertising to our like 6 neighbors, and that would be weird. If we lived in a higher traffic area, I would for sure. I do have a magnet for my senator on my car, and if I had a magnet for my preferred candidate for governor, I would add that as well.

I live in an apartment, so no. My last house had a shared yard with a neighbor (it was a two flat) so I didn't then either.
Actually, the only time I have had my own yard during a big election was when I was married to my Republican XH. So we avoided anything political (I still voted, of course!).

I do not - not allowed per the HOA CCCRs I signed when I bought the house.
There are lots of signs in empty lots (not sure who owns the lots but usually that is where local builders put their signs advertising the new subdivision being built). ALL of the signs are for Cruz or other local Republicans. It actually made me think - I don't think I've ever seen Democrat signs like I see these Cruz signs posted. It's like Dems know to follow the rules and not post signs on property that isn't their own (said jokingly of course).

Our district is one of the few in the south that votes 80% Democrat. Trump sign yards end up with pictures on Nextdoor with "can you believe my neighbor puts this up?" So, in short, I don't have to put a sign in my yard.
Yes, I have one for a proposition (setting back the distance for fracking pads at least 2500 feet from homes, schools, playgrounds) and one for Perlmutter (D-Congress). The anti-fracking one is super important for me as they are getting ready to set up a pad half a mile from our house and school.

I do. I live in a pink district (in a blue county) where a lot of the signs are for republicans. I am pushing hard to push us into blue. Local politics effect my life much more than national politics.

I’ve only had one up a few years ago- for a friend who was running for tax collector. At the time we lived on a early travelled street so it was only our street, but it was small town land in a non presidential election year.
Now, they’d have to go in the township’s right of way to be seen and would cause a hazard at the intersection so we don’t have any.
