I am so sad that the fires in CA are so devastating to those living there. It’s devastating and I feel shallow for still planning our family trip to Disneyland, but we are still going.
A friend of a friend posted that the air quality in SoCal was making being outside hard after a couple hours. We head there this weekend - anyone know where to check air quality online so we can adjust as needed?

I just got home from there. When the wind was gusting we had some ash fallout but once it died down it was fine. It is a little hazy but the fires are not close and the wind is pushing the smoke out to sea.

If you have the weather channel app on your phone, use that. It will have advisories and air quality.
The humidity is really low (like 14%) and we are on high fire alert. Expect fireworks to be canceled and Fantasmic may also be canceled.
Drink lots of water if you are in the park; even though the temps aren't hot you will dry out very quickly. I've been drinking water all day and just being in the park for an hour felt like someone had sucked all the moisture out of my body. Saline nasal spray is your friend right now!
