Giant Secret Celebration: DD made pre-team at gymnastics!!!!! Coach A told me and her BFF dad last night but we aren't supposed to say anything until the week before Christmas. Official move up will be January 7th and I can't wait. This is the best Christmas gift ever for DD and she worked so hard for it.
Of course DD wanted to know what Coach A was doing talking to us and I just told her that they did a good job with the testing and needed to continue to work hard and apply what Coach J told them as they would be making a decision mid December.

HeartofCheese, sorry to hear the news — hope you can work something out!
twinmomma, fingers crossed that paperwork goes through... and get ready for your STBXH to absorb the realities of juggling kids’ needs with his need to work, and not have you there to take up the slack. They often go through a learning curve.
More re: my crazy sinuses. After my second round of antibiotics, if I’m still coughing, I get to go have a CAT scan of my sinus cavity. So bleh. Yuck.
Also, allergy testing hurt like a mother. The person who did it was new and I think she just sucked at it because everyone says it shouldn’t hurt.
My husband did the allergy testing after a severe sinus infection. It has helped his sinuses tremendously to do the allergy shots. He is still not perfect, but he can really tell if he misses a week.
mommyatty, my friend just did allergy testing after months of on going sinus infections. She was allergic to dust mites. They switched up her allergy medication, had her get these super expensive mattress protector and sheet set and killed off the sinus infection with high powered antibiotics. So far she can't tell much of a difference so next step is shots.
