Most GBCNers weren’t pushy about recruiting but I will sat both B & the former MMMer that bought the van for LLR stuff tried to sign me up and both suggested a 0% interest cc when I said I didn’t have the start up costs. All of this right after Ds2 was born and money was tight.
If I remember correctly, Natariru said that Brie targeted her when she knew she was in the middle of battling PPA.
Gross I'm pretty forgiving of the decision to sell pajama clothes to stay home with a child with special needs but just sell the pajamas! Don't drag other people into this and especially don't target them when they are vulnerable.

You know, this sounds familiar. I think this has come up before, actually. I had forgotten.
Not ok, at all. It's one thing to take the risk yourself. It's another to push people to take a risk so that you will profit from it.

Yikes, you're right. namasteak, I didn't know that happened to you, but WTF? I guess I fell for Brie's shtick that she's overall a nice, decent person, because that is some bullshit. Her current FB post giving LLR credit for the charitable contributions made by her non-LLR friends was pretty damn disgusting, too.
Somehow Rachel Hollis is involved in all this shit at LLR? LOFL. Of course she is.
I think she's just making the rounds speaking at all their big conferences. She's the perfect white lady, good vibes only, Goop light, bullshitter for these companies but I don't think she's involved beyond being hired talent.
oh yeah Hollis spoke at several big MLM conventions this year, she is rolling in $$$$. Not a fan.
looks like the judge dismissed the exparte request today. LLR sent out an email filled with legal jargon to their consultants making it sound like a win but it's not really. The lawsuit is still there. It's just the emergency exparte requesting to freeze funds that was denied.

She has done stuff for Beach Body, too. Her message is the ultimate MLM dream. Just dream big and work hard and you can do ANYTHING. Don’t listen to naysayers. They’re just negative people. Surround yourself only with people who believe in you 100%, won’t challenge anything you say/do, and tell you only what you want to hear. Keep your eyes on the prize. Which is, of course, more, MORE, MOOOORE....money! Fame! Stuff!
I read the girl wash your face book. Or I tried to. I waited 3 months for that book to come in at the library and it was such a waste of time. At least I didn't spend money on it?

I used an audible credit on it (not really knowing anything about it or her, but a friend recommended it) and fortunately was able to return it when I realized how bad it was!
I’m at a school holiday fair at my daughter’s school and they actually have a LLR booth here. I both want to laugh and throw up when I saw them. Where did they even find these people? I’ve never heard of or seen LLR anywhere in my area. If it weren’t for FB and GBCN I never would have heard of the company at all.

They probably traveled. At a little festival near me, a woman had llr wrapped trailer, so a moveable store. it was insane. i can't imagine investing that kind of insane money in LLR.

Yes, I think you're right. Later on I heard them talking to each other about the cost of tolls to get home. they were probably from somewhere in New Jersey. it didn't look like they sold that much, if anything, so between gas and tolls, this whole venture probably cost them money.
Has anyone heard of Pixie Lane? They were there, too and seem to be a MLM for kids' clothes. the clothes were cute, but just the basics that you can get at target/ Gymboree/ Old Navy. (At inflated prices, of course).
bronxgirl, I can't imagine. I have not heard of that other company. I would rather just buy the clothes through Primary (if not working with a traditional brick and mortar store).
This was way too many posts, but if it hasn’t already been said, can we talk about how insane the women in the Defective group are?
“We should write to the Judge on a contractual dispute completely unrelated to consultants to tell him how much LLR RUINED OUR LIVES!!!”
“Omg this judge should be fired how dare he continue a hearing for 3 days because he wanted time to read 500 pages one of the parties filed the day before!!!! We should make him FACEBOOK FAMOUS.”
“HOW DARE they use a RETIRED judge for this!! I mean is that even legal?!”
“I went to a hearing on a contractual dispute invoking LLR and I raised my hand from the gallery and the Judge wouldn’t let me, a random person with no involvement in the case, have a chance to speak!!!! How dare he!!??”
“Yeah I just signed up for a new MLM what could go wrong lol”

LOL knx9211. Your post is spot on. There's a post on there asking people in the group how many MLMs they've worked for and most of these people are still in multiple other MLMs. One person said "But, there are some really great ds companies out there that do care about their people and do take care of you. Keep your head up. " Like...really? LOL These are the people I do not feel bad for at all.
knx9211, I am DYING at the comments on every post about the lawsuit, especially the people who speak like they know what they are talking about and have no idea. Or that CANNOT believe that LLR would you know, defend itself from having their assets frozen.

I really want to ask all the former bossbabes in defective WTF they thought was going to happen when they signed up for a MLM. They are bat shit crazy and so naive.

SERIOUSLY. That post kills me. There’s one in particular that listed 10 or so with many being (for product only) and one saying (just signed up). YOU MORON.
Just saw on the Defectives group that the State of Washington filed suit against Lularoe on Wednesday for operating an illegal pyramid scheme in violation of the Washington Antipyramid Promotional Scheme Act and the Washington Consumer Protection Act. This is getting good.
I’m so curious how this is going to play out. A lady I know still sells LLR and it’s amazing she still has customers to support her business - this is her only source of income. 😬
