I saw this on Facebook earlier. Girls talking to each other is “drama” and boys talking to each other is “leadership”? GTFO

What the ever-loving fuck is this?
Because WTF isn't enough for this garbage. I've worked with Scouts from Daisy to Cadet and to call this drama is ridiculous and sneakily harmful and negative to the girls. Andplusalso, those girls are in KINDERGARTEN AND FIRST GRADE. The boys...are NOT. You put three Tiger Cubs (or whatever they are at that age for Scouts) or put a row of Juniors and Cadettes and you'll get wildly different photos.

Those girls see that picture with that caption and there will be more than one who takes it to heart and breaks into tears, and will remember it.

I just saw this come across my Facebook feed and discovered it’s local to me. The troop leader even commented to dispute the false caption, stating that the girls got along all day and were just singing a troop chant.

Good for the troop leader. I hope the paper has a rant/rave or letters to the editor and she's published a request to address the caption.
