I live for a Christmas Story. It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Of course Polar Express. I just watched the old White Christmas yesterday and it was very cute. I love all the holiday cartoons even as an adult.
I'm making these sliders for my candy party today. Love them.
Ingredients needed: 3/4 cup melted Butter 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp Brown Sugar 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds 2 tsp Dried Minced Onion 12 King’s Hawaiian Dinner Rolls 9 oz thin sliced Deli Ham 8 oz thin sliced Swiss Cheese
Assemble sandwiches. Mix all other ingredients and pour over. Bake at 350 until melted.
Cheese and crackers (cheddar and jack are always hits) Brie with dried cranberries Pretzels Baby carrots Hummus Grapes Sliced bell peppers Summer sausage/salami/prosciutto Spinach artichoke dip Chips and salsa
I also make the pretzels with the melted hug on top with and M&M. Very festive and easy.

The ones we usually watch...
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Claymation Christmas The Grinch (the original Boris Karloff one) Garfield Christmas Special And then the old animated ones (Rudolf, Frosty, etc)
My little brother used to watch The Christmas Toy over and over again (we had recorded it with VHS). My sister found a DVD copy and got it, so that one may start appearing again soon too.
We make copycat Torchy’s queso. So good and easy. Target has very good spinach artichoke dip in the veggie/deli section. Throw in a bowl with red and green tortilla chips around it and it looks very Christmas-y.
ETA: To me nothing screams Christmas like the Hillshire Farms cheese and salami thingie plus Christmas cookies. #Childofthe70s.

Rudolph Muppet Christmas Carol Frosty The Santa Clause The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Charlie Brown Christmas How the Grinch Stole Christmas Miracle on 34th Street White Christmas Christmas in Connecticut
A Muppet Family Christmas, and if not that, then a Muppet Christmas Carol. We watched these with the kids last year, and my daughter (who was 2) decided that the farmhouse in the Muppet Family Christmas is creepy and weird.

I love Elf. I also like Polar Express as I live in the metro area of the city where the main character boy is from. My mom went to the department store mentioned in the movie when she was a little girl.
DH's mom's family does apps for Christmas Eve, and usually someone makes crock pot meatballs or weenies, which are always a hit. Two years in a row I made loaded tater tots (I brought tater tots with various options for toppins, like cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, etc.) and those were a hit. We've also had Rotel-Velveeta dip, other dips (e.g., spinach dip, cheese balls) and crackers, veggie trays, and pigs in a blanket. We are hosting this year, so I may make BBQ pulled pork or chicken sliders as it would be low effort and I can make the meat in the crock pot.
