So, every year in December I do a Socks and Underwear Drive for a local charity called Cradles to Crayons. Usually it’s just me posting on Facebook asking friends and family for donations. This is my 3rd year and I’m trying to expand. I created a Facebook event and have a link in there to the Amazon Wish List I created and invited all my Facebook Friends, which is working great so far.
However, I’m now looking to expand even further. I’m going to expand the drive to the general public. My friend owns a catering company and has agreed to let me set up a donation box there, which is awesome. He’s also agreed to donate tickets for some upcoming Dinner Shows in the beginning of next year, so I am going to set up a couple of drives where if people come and drop off a donation during the designated times, they’ll be entered to win tickets.
Anyway, I want to make my Facebook event public because it has the address to drop off gifts, but also the Amazon Wish List link. I guess I can change the delivery address to the catering place, but I’d rather have them delivered to my home still, but don’t want my address out there for all of Facebook land. Is there anyway to make my address hidden in an Amazon Wish List?
I just ordered things from my own amazon wishlist I set up for DD and it wouldn't even show me, the person who set up the list and also the person buying/ receiving, the address.
I think you have to set it up to keep the address hidden. When I buy things off my own wish list, it lets me send it to myself or to send it to the wish list address which is hidden.
Has your mom mailed you stuff before? That might be why your address showed up for her.
