I tried In N Out in Tucson. What I got was okay-ish to not good. I got a cheeseburger animal style. According to the interwebz, that was supposed to include a mustard fried patty but I couldn't taste any mustard. The burger was okay overall. I got fries with cheese (I read about it on a secrets of In N Out post) and asked for the fries to be done extra crispy and they were so soggy. The picture I saw of the cheese on the fries made them look more like cheesy fries but what I got was two slices of cheese on the fries, and since the fries didn't get hot enough in the fryer the cheese didn't really melt.
I did get an amazing brioche donut with a strawberry cream filling and lemon glaze from a local breakfast place.
The ongoing saga of the oatmeal continues, today it was palatable. Not good, but I could eat it.
Same base, but I put in about the same amount of frozen berries and a healthy dollop of honey.
Do you still have seeds in there? Get rid of them.
I'd rather eat a handful of seeds like vitamins than have to eat them after they've soaked overnight in milk/cream. They get so slimy.
I love overnight oats...it's like cold cereal without all that nasty crunching noise.
Yes to all of this! My favorite "hack" is to save a jar of nut butter after it's empty and use it for overnight oats. Don't scrape the jar clean and you get a little PB infusion in the mix. Yum.
Is there a way to get a new smartphone with a decent camera, that won't cost me eight billion dollars?
I'm really tired of my iPhone 6 (6s? I don't even know) and my photos all come out blurry and it's got no storage space even though I deleted just about everything. But since there's nothing wrong with it, and since I don't see a way to get one without shelling out a ton of cash, I'm sticking with it until it dies.
What happened to being allowed to just upgrade to a better phone every year or two? Do phone companies not do that anymore?
my Pixel has a great camera. My H has even agreed that some of my pics are better than his fancy DSLR, even in weird light situations.

Honest curiosity here, why are you so committed to eating oatmeal? Why haven't you decided you just don’t like it and move on? Don’t get me wrong, we’re all impressed with your dedication, but really, WHY? Lol.

Because she mixed up 7 days of it in advance and who likes to waste food?

I'm with Pixy!
I missed that part, now I get it. I was thinking, “If she tried liver and didn’t like it, she wouldn’t eat it for the next three days just to be sure s really hates it?” I couldn’t figure out why she was so determined to like oatmeal.
ESFy4m It's been ages but alyseya's apparently developing a new bag, and of particular interest to me, specificly mentions things POPing and also having better straps.
I got my old bag strap fixed. Just took it to a cobbler and it's not perfect but nobody is ever going to notice it. But I do kinda want to buy my sister a bag for her law school grad present...I don't think this timing is going to work though. And she'd probably prefer not leather anyway...since she's a vegan.
So dagne? Yeah?
I had my old Alyseya bag strap fixed by a cobbler and it started to tear almost immediately - within a few uses. My original one tore after no more than 20 uses. I'm still really pissed about it and I won't ever buy another bag from her again, I don't care how nice the new ones end up looking. I still have the bag, and it feels like such a waste to throw out a brand new $300 bag, but I have no idea what else to do with it.
I've been very happy with my Dagne Dover. It's very structured, which is not ordinarily my preference, but it's so easy to keep organized and so durable.
You might also want to look at Jemma bags. I have the Birdie, which is advertised as a gym bag, but looks nothing like a gym bag. I got it because I really needed a multi purpose black tote and I wanted something with a suitcase sleeve. It's cheaper, and IMO, prettier, than the OMG because it's got camel trim. Vegan leather and nylon. I wouldn't use it as a "power bag" for an interview or big meeting, but it would be a good every day work bag. It's got a compartment for shoes and one for a laptop.

I’m following that page too! Super excited to see what she comes up with. I loved those bags so much I was also getting my cobbler to fix them. But they were still so heavy because of the leather. Once my travel got truly heavy I switched to Lo and Sons and I find those indestructible and so well designed. I just got my sister one too.
Well it’s January 9th and I’ve now read 7 books this year. The one I just finished was The Great Believers. I may never be okay but it might also be my new favorite book.
sometimes I think to myself, "wawa, you shouldn't be so quick to judge. you don't know their story." and then I wait a second and find out oh, nope...I was right.
case in point: I follow this facebook group for a random horsey sport nobody has ever heard of. somebody posted a video that her brother made of her last event, and during the video which just had a music overlay, so no dialog, there were just a few fleeting moments where the woman's facial expressions or body language just made it seem like she was being kinda bitchy with her crew, and twice was she was a bit rougher with her horse than seemed necessary given the circumstances, but, you know, its hard to say from something like that. Still, I finished the video and was like, "ew. don't like you." I clicked through to her profile because I'm nosy as fuck...and it's full of bigoted drivel. I'm just going to stick with my snap judgments.
