Is it normal to reach a point where you feel short of breath doing nothing? The last 2 days I keep randomly feeling out of breath, even just while sitting at my desk. I don't know if the baby is just taking up that much room or something else. I can't imagine 9 more weeks of this though if she keeps growing.
Today is my birthday, so we're going out to dinner on Saturday. (Convenient timing: our Y is doing a 3 hour parents' night out childcare for $20! Win.) I'm not quite brave enough to order my own glass of wine in public with this big belly, but you better believe I'm going to have Calvin order something I like so I can have half.

Yep. I've been at that point for a few weeks now. This kid is either way low on my cervix, or he's way up high in my ribs.
I am just lurking because I'm about 2 second pregnant, but I wanted to comment that I had a similar experience with the heart calcification at my AS with my DS, woowoo. I had NIPT done and everything looked good and then at the AS, they saw a small heart calcification and brought someone in to have the down syndrome possibility talk with me. It was so scary...until I told them I had a clear NIPT and then they were all "oh, well, if I had known that, we wouldn't have even bothered telling you". My mom was with me and we were both like WTF?? I am happy to hear that the liver sounds like it is most likely a nonissue!

Last night I was looking at boys names list and paused for a long time at Harvey. It’s not one I considered before but this baby is such a blessing after a really difficult year and is a good thing to come out of that storm.

My OB and I have this hilarious relationship where she tries really hard to keep it professional, but every appointment derails into a friendly overshare and laughter.
Today's appointment involved her getting mad because she thought I was going to buy out all the baby chicks she wanted to get from the store this morning. End result is that we have only named one chicken - and it's her name. She's honored, lol.

Ugh, I'm in L&D. I've been having contractions for like 3 hours now, every 5-7 minutes. I literally spent 2 hours on the couch monitoring them, drinking water, getting up to pee as needed. Would not stop. So I came in. Now they're every 3-4 on the monitor. Cervix is closed, thank goodness. So I'm getting a medication to stop them, called terbutaline.
Well, my cervix is still closed, so yay. Terbutaline temporarily stopped the contractions, then they picked up again. I got another med instead. And I'm staying overnight to be monitored.

Got some sleep. I don't know how long term antepartum patients sleep on these beds. Even with an egg crate it's kind of uncomfortable. Contractions mostly stayed away, unless I got up to pee (full bladder = contractions in my case) and I got up like 5 times. Picked up a bit this morning as the med has worn off, but not nearly like it was yesterday.
The on call OB has already been by and he's sending me home, probably with a prescription for the second medication.
I see my OB Tuesday, and fortunately do not work between now and then. I imagine she'll want to pull me out of work early or have me go to part time. I wish light duty were an option but it really isn't.
I’m so sorry pooh8402. That must’ve been so scary. I’m glad you had a decent night, and hopefully your ob will have a good plan for you. I’ve also noticed that my most intense contractions come when I have a full bladder, interesting you experienced the same thing. Hoping you can take it easy for the next few days!
Glad to hear things have calmed down a bit pooh8402. I had to go to the due date list because I knew you were due just a few weeks before me and wanted to confirm that. Every day I realize more and more that my body could just decide to do what it wants, even if it is too early!
