House officially on the market

Our houses are going to be officially on the market as of Thursday. We already have had several viewings and have one tomorrow night, but hoping that putting it on the internet/signage up will help generate interest. A house just up the road from us recently sold (smaller, not as nicely done), so hoping ours will as well.

Good luck on both properties! I was just looking at comparables in my area and the pickings are pretty slim. Hoping it stays that way until April when we will list.

Another part of North London - just an area that has more going on within walking distance (pubs, theatre, cinema, multiple restaurants, etc).

We're waiting until we sell both houses before we put in an offer as we'll then be cash buyers. The market in London is VERY slow where we are currently living and where we're purchasing so it makes no sense to put an offer on anything to just have it fall through (how things work over here is VERY different to the US). It means we'll either do a short-term AirBnb rental or we'll rent for a year if we buy a fixer-upper.

We are following a few houses that we're interested in but not getting our hopes up for any of them right now as they could sell before we're ready to buy.

I've heard that the London market is kind of ridiculous right now (with how slow it is). Hopefully you'll sell quickly and buy 'cheaply' .
