So I just realized that I still have dining reservations that I was going to drop but could now potentially use if I switch my parks around, which I think I am going to do.
I still have a reservation at 1900 Park Fare on the 3rd. This was previously a problem from HS, but would now just be a monorail ride from MK. I ALSO now have Liberty Tree Tavern lunch. I would keep one and do QS for the other. Opinions?
I should say that I really have never been sold on this 1900 Park Fare idea, but someone said they LOOOOVE It and it's their favorite. My youngest loves princesses. Not sure, though, if it is confusing for kids having the "bad guys" at the meal. Or would the kids love it? We are doing other princess meals, so I am not sure how to feel about this one.
On the HS day, I still have my (very controversial) Cape May 5:00 reservation, which it sounds like everyone thought would be a big PITA. I also have the Minnie's Seasonal Dine/Fantasmic package at 5:15 or so at H&V. We are likely not doing Fantasmic, but I could keep the dining package anyway?? Maybe I would decide to try to do Fantasmic after all with some of the kids (but Star Wars is priority), while DH took the 2 littles to do something else. Leaning towards keeping the H&V reservation.

The step sisters are hilarious at 1900 Park Fare. They were my favorite character interaction of our whole trip! The food on the buffet was pretty good too, for buffet food. They have a few more and different options for kids than other buffets we went to. I've not done LTT but I would recommend 1900.
H&V was the worst meal we had. It was edible but the selection wasn't great and what was there was mediocre. The desserts were the best part and they had a large selection.

I've been to both LTT and 1900. It's a tough choice, but I would lean toward 1900 Park Fare. The Stepsisters are hilarious, and I think it's the only place to meet Prince Charming. And of course, Cinderella is there. And it's at GF, which I love going to. The strawberry soup is delicious!! Plus it's a buffet, so everyone can get what they like.
I have not eaten at Cape May or H&V, so I can't offer any good suggestions there.
It sounds like you have quite a few long character meals, so I personally would go with Liberty Tree Tavern. I think it is easy to underestimate how long travel takes around the park and how long the character meals take.

How much other character dining are you doing?
I really enjoy the characters and it’s a good value for your dining credits, so I would do both 1900 Park Fare and H&V since there is no character overlap. None of the character buffet meals are going to be spectacular food, but it’s decent and everyone can find something they like.
