Camilla recently participated in something for the London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children, where she was driven into Buckingham Palace in a low-emission cab for a photo op.
She said the last time she took a cab was before she married Charles, and the cab driver didn't recognize her and was making small talk and asked what she thought of Camilla Parker Bowles:
“I remember one of them once said to me, when I was in the back of a cab, who I don’t think realized who I was – this was all before I was married – and asked me what I thought about myself,” she said.
Luckily, it didn’t ruin her trip.
“He was awfully charming, and I gave him a huge tip,” Camilla shared.
Susie, That's the one! Coincidentally (or not so, since I obviously like that style,) a Dessy Jenny Packham bridesmaid dress with the same silhouette and similar bodice is my front-runner to wear in a wedding next winter.

I really hope Camilla is as delightful as I think she is.
ETA: I don't actually hate the gold Erdem. My least favorite maternity look of her is the Alexander McQueen. This is my favorite ever look.
This is the only strapless gown she has worn that I can find. It was worn the same year she got married, I wonder if it was strongly suggested she not wear strapless again.

The Queen wore strapless gowns in her youth so I can't imagine it's completely forbidden. But who knows.
The red gown Kate wore to the Chinese state banquet is one of my favorites. My brother's wedding is coming up in June and I need a formal dress, and I'd really like one like that ... the What Kate Wore and Kate's Closet AU have some pretty good lookalike suggestions. Finding one in my size is proving to be a challenge but this one's available in a silver color and I may order it to try it out.
It’s a shame she doesn’t do more strapless because it is flattering on her - though most things are. I didn’t like the top of the most recent dress at all. The seam in front seemed off and the arms also looked awkward to me. I think it might have been better if the top wasn’t two toned but overall not my favorite on her.

Didn’t Diana have a mishap in a strapless gown? I wonder if that’s where it came from?

Good question, I've never heard of that! I Googled (admittedly not very thoroughly because I don't want something risque to come up on my work computer lol) but couldn't find it.

Sophie has worn strapless since Diana. There isn't any reason she can't wear strapless. All the royal women have at one time or another, QEII was fond of the look back on the day.
If Catherine chooses not to wear it it's because she doesn't like it.
She may have decided it wasn't for her or she didn't like the way the pics looked cropped or may have not liked it slipping half the night.

She wore a black strapless to an event after she was engaged, but before marriage. The top of the gown doesn’t look particularly secure in some of the pictures.

My aunt met Camilla and Charles once (they toured the ship my aunt’s husband was captain of) and she said they couldn’t be nicer. Of course, I doubt many royals would be total shits to someone while on royal duties.
Beyonce and Jay-Z film their Brit Award acceptance in front of a "portrait" of Duchess Meghan.
("Portrait" in quotes because it's a parody, not an official portrait ... I've seen this pic floating around the Internet before this, and the tiara pictured actually belongs to the Queen of Spain. Pretty, though!)

Maybe she's pushing 40 and has had 3 kids so she prefers a real bra, lol.

I googled this and this is what Hello magazine says. IDK if it's a reputable source!
It was Prince Harry's duty to inspect the guards of honour from the Auxiliary Forces, dressed in their pristine white uniforms and formed in two rows to the side of the red carpet. Heavily pregnant Meghan was not required for this, so walked behind her husband as he looked over the troops who had been patiently waiting for over an hour.

I love her casual look today! Black and white striped top with an olive utility jacket. I liked the red dress too. The blue dress with the really detailed pattern on it I’m not crazy about. I think I would like it fine if she wasn’t pregnant but it’s so shapeless. I guess that’s her style but I like the more maternity specific clothes she wears so much better. I wonder if she just isn’t feeling confident about her pregnancy shape and is gravitating more towards outfits that are less form fitting?
Carolina Herrera for their royal audience. I want to love it, but the waist is all wrong. I think that if she’d gone with the empire waist in the original design (linked below), it would have looked so much better.
