So, we’ve planned an extremely spur if the moment Disney trip for the last week of February! What stroller do I need to take/rent/buy? I have a two month old and just turned four year old. We own a single City Mini and a snap n go frame for the infant seat. I assume, though, that I will want to rent a double stroller? Is there one that an infant can go in? I had also previously looked at purchasing a Joovy Caboose (did n stand style) and could buy that before we go if needed. Tell me what to do!
Would the baby tolerate being worn? That would be my preferred way to tote an itty bitty around the parks. If you go on Kingdom Strollers’s website they rent City Minis so that should be compatible with your baby carrier. We had a Britax, which is basically the same thing, and all we really needed were those side plastic pieces. If City Minis operate like that I’d just bring those pieces with you and get the double stroller.
We just got back from Disney last week with an almost 3 year old and 8 month old. While the three year old rode in the stroller extensively, the 8 month old preferred to be worn. He didn't take a single nap in that darn stroller! I absolutely could have gotten away with a single stroller (and occasionally wish we had just brought the single).
At 2.5 and 10 weeks we went to Portland and the Oregon coast and just used the single stroller and baby carriers. It worked fine!
If you decide to go with the double, most can be used with a 2 month old when they are fully reclined. We have the Britax b-agile, which is very similar to the city mini.
