I made it to three 4:45am bootcamps. I won’t make tomorrow because soccer starts and there isn’t a camp early enough.
I am nailing my macros and calories on MFP. The two new most satisfying things I have added to the rotation are tablespoons of peanut butter (I am often low on fat and/or protein at the end of the day, with calories left) and Kodiak dark chocolate power protein waffles for breakfast. Tonight I am eating at Cicis pizza for a team soccer dinner - cheat day hard core.
Airrosti is magic. I really jacked up my hamstring again in my 5k but this morning I skipped one lap and activated my glutes and it made a crazy difference in stopping the catch in my hamstring. Also, I am in love with KT tape. I did 200+ weighted squats as part of the workout and am frankly amazed at how quickly strength is building. My trainer brought me heavier weights, and I almost died on overhead presses as a result, and I almost hit myself in the face with a weight during a Turkish get up, but I am getting there and it feels good!
Oh and I am back in my size 6 ON skinnies - the AE skinnies still don’t fit and they used to be looser so now I wonder if DH shrank them. I wasn’t even going to TRY the ON jeans, but I couldn’t find the fat jeans I needed and was in a rush yesterday so tried them in desperation. Insane that I could wear them!!!!!
Food: Really well this week. I started my Whole30 and have kept to it for 4 days. It is getting easier and I have no plans on cheating yet
Workouts: Not as well. I was accumulating to the calories from Whole30 and not bringing enough to eat. I was exhausted Tuesday night so I slept in Wed. and DD was sick yesterday so I didn't go this morning in case she needed to stay home from school. She as an ear infection.
Miscellaneous: I have stopped drinking coffee right now. Since I can't have sugar or dairy I am not drinking my daily coffee.
Non Scale Victories, Celebrations ( doesn't have to be fitness related)- I put on my pre-pregnancy fat pants on today and they actually fit.

Bonus: How is your fitness journey going and what phase are you in? I would say I am at the beginning again. Pregnancy destroys me and I have never been a healthy eater. I think this time I really want to make a change and I think it is going well.
This week was ok. My energy is low because I’m having so much trouble sleeping. I did get 4 workouts in, hoping to sneak one in today between appointments.
My eating has been bad. I have huge canker sores in my mouth and it’s really hard to eat anything but soft foods. Yogurt, pasta, some soups. Nothing tomato-based, which is my favorite healthy-ish option.
Tried a HIIT workout off YouTube and nearly died. That surprised me. I thought that since I’ve been increasing speed and incline on the treadmill and reintroduced weights a few weeks ago, I’d be ok. I was not ok.
Next week is a mess - kids are on vacation, we have plans and appointments galore. I will do my best.
Bonus: What phase? I feel like I’m perpetually in the beginning. I just don’t seem to be progressing despite working out regularly for 2 years. It’s a little frustrating. There’s a new gym opening within walking distance of my house. I’m thinking of joining.
