I like the Pampers overnight diapers. S drinks a cup of milk every night after we put them on him (around 6:45 like you, plus he has water at dinner around 6) and he lasts 12-14 hours in it without it ever leaking. We do not size up.
Does your son soak through the front or the back too? I find that by using 1 size diaper up than his normal day diaper, and folding the front of the diaper down inwards before closing the diaper, it helps alot with leaks. This way the fold prevents the peak from soaking his shirt at his belly. My son wears size 5 luvs during the day, and size 6 luvs at night. When he was younger (size 4, about 1 - 1.5) he still soaking through periodically (once every week or 2 weeks) with this method, but now at 2.5 I haven't had any soak throughs for months. His diaper is all dry in the back and only full in the front.
We just do Target brand overnights. The diaper is definitely pretty full in the mornings, but we’ve only had it leak through the PJs a couple of times. I have no idea what you mean by a diaper “with a sposie.” I thought “sposie” just meant disposable diaper. We also just do milk with dinner. We don’t do a separate cup of milk after dinner.

Sposie makes a liner you put inside of diaper for more absorption. It saved us from wet pjs for months with DS2

Sposies are diaper booster pads. They provide extra absorbency.
Pampers overnights with a doubler. Maybe that’s what you mean by sposie, not sure. DS is fine with just the diaper overnight (most of the time), but DD needed the doubler too. Targets overnights didn’t work for us.
Thredjack: what diapers work best for long, lean boys during the day? We’re already up to a size 6 for length, but it’s hard to get a tight fit around his legs. Virtually every poop leaks out the side. We’re using Target, but having issues. Huggies seem to run small. We used Pampers swaddlers when he was little, but stopped due to cost. Does anyone use Costco? Others? DS is 14 months, 24.5lbs and 99th for height. He’s a very active guy and that could also be part of the issue.

I was using pampers swaddlers overnight (with sposie in her leaky phase) and when I ran out I just sized up in regular pampers swaddlers. At this point she’s in size 4 day and night with no issues. ETA- Dd is 24 lbs and 31 inches

Pampers baby dry, one size up, with a sposie positioned about 2 inches back from the front of the diaper. She drinks up to 6 oz of milk before bed and rarely leaks. I also put a layer of aquaphor on her to prevent rashes. We've stuck with pampers because Target diapers gave her a nasty rash. She also pees in the potty before bath, which seems to help too.
We did Huggies Overnights a size up from his daytime diaper. Make sure his penis is pointed down! If it’s not, there’s no diaper in the world that won’t leak.

I find that Luvs fits similar to Pampers. We've used pampers swaddlers up to size 2 or 3, then switched to pampers baby dry as swaddlers got more expensive, then switched to Luvs. They all fit similarly.
DS is such a heavy wetter at night that we need to use two diapers. One I rip the side elastics and tabs off (but don’t rip it down to the core otherwise it’s a gel explosion in the morning) and fold it into thirds. I put that over his penis and then put the second diaper on like normal. Finally I put a cloth diaper cover over it all. No leaks since.

My kid is 25.5 pounds and tall, though more like 80% maybe? We just switched to the earth and eden diapers on amazon with good success.
Why does he need the milk only 45 min after dinner? I would eliminate or halve that.
Some days he doesn't eat a lot of dinner, and since he STTN I hesitate to change anything that might disrupt that lol. He hasn't finished it the last two nights though. Basically we give it to him and if he wants it, cool. If not, that's fine too.

It's always the front and left hip. The back of the diaper is reasonably dry.

I'm a lurker, so hello, but I popped in because I had a tip that might help.
We use the target Up & Up brand and size up (I see you're already sizing up) then I put a diaper cover over the diaper at night. This has made a HUGE difference!
Just be sure to get a "pocket" style diaper cover. You want a cover that has an absorbent inner liner.
You can find them at Buy Buy Baby, sometimes target and Walmart, or Amazon.

Its pretty normal for kids to not eat much at dinner so I would try reducing the milk. The fact that he doesn't drink it ever night tells me he doesn't need it to STTN but if he's still leaking when he doesn't drink it that isn't the issue.
Super Undies are basically training cloth diapers. When we were PT they worked great with one of their boosters.
We use Pampers during the day but I actually prefer to use one size up in the Huggies overnights. They have the elastic in the back so they fit both Twin A’s big bum and Twin B’s skinny bum lol
Pampers overnight work really well for my DS. He's worn those for 2.5+ years (he'll be 3 in April). He's leaked through maybe 1-2x in that time when he'd had too much liquid. Excluding the times when he needed to size up of course.
We use honest night time diapers in a size up. Can you give him the milk with dinner instead of after? Depending when he goes to bed it might still be close, but the extra time between could be helpful.
Is he a heavy sleeper? When my son was wetting though his night time diaper, I would often change him again when I went to bed (so he’d go to bed around 7 or so with a fresh diaper and I’d change him while he was sleeping at 11).
He gets a fresh diaper after his 630 bath. I assume he pees in the tub 95% of the time. That diaper is rarely wet when I swap to overnight at 720ish. He then gets up around 7 am, though it's been earlier this week since he's wet and cant fall back asleep well enough.
I could try moving the milk to dinner if I cant find a good solution.
But LOL to changing diaper mid sleep. He'd wake up and then be up for an hour after.
