Has anyone stayed at the Dolphin or Swan?

We leave for a surprise trip for our kids next Thursday morning and are staying at the Dolphin.  We are planning on uber/taxi from the airport. 

Is the Dolphin close enough to Epcot where we could monorail to the MK? Would renting a car be a better idea? 

We haven't been to WDW since the 80's - any suggestions would be welcome.

We stayed there this summer. There’s a bus at the front of Dolphin that takes you to MK. That would be the fastest way to get there.

I love Swan and Dolphin. You can walk to HS and Epcot, and they have buses for HS, MK, and AK. No need to rent a car.
