I remake mine every couple years. Some things I can do in the near future ( run particular races) and some are decades away (pay for nonexistent, hypothetical grandkid's college. My kids are 6 and currently want to marry each other, so. LOL).
A lot of travel: Europe, South Pacific, Asia, etc. I’d like to live abroad for at least a half year or so at some point. We’d also like to take the kids on an African safari when they’re in their late teens.
For me personally, I’d like to get a masters degree and become completely bilingual in French.

Get scuba certified. A whole list of travel destinations. Own a car with a rear windshield wiper. See every species of penguin in the wild. Almost there! Deadlift my body weight.

Visit Turkey Backpack through the highlands of Scotland Buy a house Buy a new car (not new to me. actually new.) Make a sizable donation to the local library
Probably others but those are the two main ones. I don't really make a bucket list.

I love these and are the types of list items I love to read. The mix of mundane and huge goals
I have a rear windshield wiper and never realized how useful it was before I had it.
Never ever in a million years would I think to have a penguin species checklist on my list. Love the uniqueness of your goal!

Most of mine are travel-related.
1) Leave the U.S. (ideally visit all of the continents one day) 2) See the Aurora Borealis 3) Go to the Olympics (as a spectator lol!) 4) Visit all the U.S. national parks 5) Get a job I love going to every day

I have a list of races I want to run. Visit all 50 states and MLB stadiums. See a black and white panda in a zoo. Visit a hot air balloon festival. Those are just some things on my list.

There is a huge one in Albuquerque. I think it's put on annually. I only know that because a local newscaster is a hot air balloon enthusiast

There is also one in upstate NY, or at least used to be. I had a friend who's family owned a resort and it was near them.
Continue to get better at guitar and play at least one song for an audience (even if it’s like 10 people)
Continue being adventurous and spontaneous in my music-related travel. If I want to see a band, I just hop in my car and GO. I don’t want to let age or whatever to discourage me from that sense of adventure.
New Zealand, Scandinavia, England/Scotland/Ireland

Be financially sound enough to be really generous with my nieces and nephew (like buy them a car or pay for their/ their kids’ school or something)

Travel: Asia (China, Japan), Alaskan cruise (hopefully w/ Aurora Borealis), African safari, South Pacific (Tahiti, Bora Bora--Jalapeñomel, we could go together, lol)
Professional accomplishments: win some kind of teaching award (school-based Teacher of the Year, state-recognized Librarian of the Year), hell, at this point I'd settle for Mascot of the Month
Personal--get to an ideal weight (life-long battle)
Community--get involved with a service-dog or rescue organization (perhaps when I'm retired)

I read this as visit all the continents IN one day. I was super impressed for a minute. Then I spent time trying to figure out how one would actually do this. I think it could be done with strategic use of time zones, but I’m not sure.

6. Rescue/foster more dogs and get back into animal rescue work when we return to Toronto.
1. Visit all inhabited continents. I need Europe, Africa and Australia 2. Set foot in all 50 states. I’m up to 38. 3. Pay off my student loans 4. Do something with my doctorate 5. Finish and publish the novel I started years ago 6. Get to an acceptable weight/size
1. Get an electric car 2. Take my kids to Europe 3. Go to Alaska and Hawaii 4. Get my 3 year old to shit in the toilet 5. Get a puppy/dog 6. Get a job in my masters field next year to pay for my bucket list

samanthamkm there is a large festival in Gatineau, Quebec every summer. A day trip away from Montreal too if you would like to eat some great food. You can also stay in Ottawa and there are almost if the best museums in Canada here.
My bucket list: 1. Own a sailboat on Lake Ontario 2. Install solar panels on the roof of our house 3. Retire with enough money to be active and healthy 4. Do a major project with work that makes a difference for the environment.
